Greg Seppanen is a retired teacher who taught U.S. History, Government, World History, and Economics in the Marquette Public Schools for 24 years. Seppanen has 27 years of experience as a Marquette County Commissioner and Chocolay Township supervisor, and has been a member of the U.S. Army Presidential Honor Guard. Seppanen holds a Bachelor of Science in History and Geography from Northern Michigan University and attended trade skill training in welding at the Northern Michigan University Skill Center. Seppanen, of Marquette, was appointed to the Board of Trustees by Governor Gretchen Whitmer on December 28, 2020 for a term beginning January 1, 2021 and continuing until December 31, 2028. Seppanen succeeds James K. Haveman whose term expired December 31, 2020.

Jason T. Morgan serves as the 8th district commissioner on the Washtenaw County Board of Commissioners and as an instructor at Washtenaw Community College. Morgan is also a Flotilla Vice Commander in the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary and a member of the Huron River Watershed Council Board of Directors, the Washtenaw County Environmental Council, Parks and Recreation Commission, Homeland Security Task Force, Public Works Board, and the Criminal Justice Collaborative Council. He is also a camp counselor and active volunteer with the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Morgan has over 10 years of experience working in government, including serving as Special Advisor to Congresswoman Haley Stevens, Constituent Services Director to Michigan Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson, Transition Director to Congresswoman Elissa Slotkin, and District Director to Congresswoman Debbie Dingell. He also previously worked as the Director of Government and Community Relations at Washtenaw Community College, and as an aide to both Congressman John Dingell and Congressman Bart Stupak, as well as Senate Minority Leader Michael Prusi. Morgan holds a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Northern Michigan University, where he served as President of the Associated Students of Northern Michigan University (ASNMU) during his time as a student. He also holds a Master of Public Administration from the University of Michigan Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy. Morgan, of Ann Arbor, was appointed to the Board of Trustees by Governor Gretchen Whitmer on March 25, 2021 for a term beginning March 25, 2021 and continuing until December 31, 2028. He succeeds Steven M. Mitchell whose term expired December 31, 2020.

Robert Mahaney is President and founder of the Veridea Group, a real estate development and hotel management firm based in Marquette MI with operations in Michigan and the Mountain West states. He has over 30 years of experience in real estate development, project management, and financing. In addition to Veridea, his professional career has included work in public accounting, corporate banking, investment management, and the start-up and development of multiple business ventures. Mahaney holds bachelor degrees from Albion College and received his Masters of International Management degree from the Thunderbird School of Global Management. He has received professional licenses as a certified public accountant, certified financial planner, and real estate broker. In December 2014, Mahaney was appointed to the Northern Michigan University Board of Trustees by Michigan Governor Rick Snyder to serve an 8-year term beginning January 1, 2015. He also serves on the Board of Directors of Invest UP, a private sector-led economic development organization focused on driving economic growth across the Upper Peninsula. He was a director of Mackinac Financial Corporation and mBank for many years. Mahaney's community service includes past chairman and board member of the Michigan Catholic Conference's pension plans, past Chairman of the Diocese of Marquette School Board, and he is a founding member and past president of the Noquemanon Trail Network.

Stephen E. Young is the recently retired owner and officer in the lobby firm of Governmental Consultant Services Inc. (GCSI), located in Lansing, Michigan. The top-rated lobby firm is one of the biggest in the State and represents over 120 different clients. He has been voted the most effective lobbyist in Lansing for several years running. He previously served as a Manager of Tax and Regulatory Affairs for the Michigan Chamber of Commerce. He was a political science major and Payne Hall resident at NMU in the mid-seventies. He left NMU to work at the State Capitol as Chief of Staff to a Saginaw area State Senator. He completed his bachelor's degree in political science and economics from Michigan State University. Mr. Young was appointed to the Northern Michigan University Board of Trustees by Governor Rick Snyder for a term beginning January 1, 2019 and continuing until December 31, 2026. Steve lives in Lansing with his wife Tricia, and has two daughters, Jennifer and Stephanie.

Previously she served as Director of HR Shared Services for all divisions of the NAFTA organization with Daimler North America Corporation; and the Senior Manager of Human Resources for Mercedes-Benz Financial Services USA LLC, where she was responsible for overseeing the company's HR operations and talent management. She started with the organization that was Chrysler Corporation in 1997 and has served a role in all aspects of Human resources to include both salaried and union employees. Hart served on the board of Junior Achievement of Chisolm Trail in Texas. She is certified as a Senior Professional of Human Resources (SPHR) and is also a member of the Society of Human Resources Management. She earned a bachelor's degree in Human Resources from Michigan State University, and a master's degree in Industrial and Labor Relations from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. Hart, of Royal Oak, was appointed to the Board of Trustees by Governor Rick Snyder on December 15, 2016, for a term beginning January 1, 2017 and continuing until December 31, 2024. She replaced Dr. H. Sook Willkinson, whose term expired on December 31, 2016.

Missie Holmquist is the President and CEO of Upper Peninsula Health Plan (UPHP) in Marquette. Working at UPHP for nearly 20 years, her promotions included positions in claims, utilization management, operations, and government programs. She was appointed Chief Operations Officer before assuming her current role as CEO in 2018. Holmquist was appointed as Secretary of the Medicaid Health Plans Board of Directors in 2020, serves as Treasurer for InvestUP, Vice President of the Economic Club of Marquette County, and is a member of Marquette Ambassadors. She was appointed to the Northern Michigan University Board of Trustees by Governor Gretchen Whitmer on February 18, 2022, for a term beginning February 18, 2022 and continuing until December 31, 2026. She succeeds Donna L. Murray-Brown who resigned when she moved out of state.

Tami Seavoy is an attorney with Kendricks, Bordeau, Keefe, Seavoy & Reilly, P.C.
