Abby is an Assistant Solicitor within the private client team.
Her experience includes wills, estate administration and lasting powers of attorney. Abby is currently working towards qualifying as a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).
Before joining Warners in 2022, Abby worked at a firm in London dealing with a range of private client matters.
Alex is a solicitor in the commercial property team based in the Sevenoaks office.

Andrew is Head of the Corporate Team. He is experienced in all aspects of corporate and commercial law, from share and asset sales, MBOs, private equity investment and shareholder agreements to general constitutional matters, EMI schemes, banking, restructuring and insolvency.
Andrew has advised clients across a number of sectors, including healthcare (veterinary, pharmacy, social care and dental), IT, security, property development and retail. He works with entrepreneurs, owner-managers, SMEs, large corporates, banks, LLPs, partnerships and individuals.
Andrew has particular expertise in the veterinary sector, having acted for one of the largest veterinary Corporates for a number of years at a previous firm. He has completed a number of high-profile deals in that area, acting mostly for sellers of late and also advises on practice start-ups and shareholder matters.
Andrew began his legal career with Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer and Baker & McKenzie in London before practising in leading regional firms in Kent and Sussex.

Advising one of the largest IT Support and Consultancy providers in the UK on the design and implementation of a new EMI Share Option Plan.
Aneesha is a solicitor in the private client team, based in the Tonbridge office.

After training and working at Eversheds, Angela worked for several firms before joining Warners in 2016. Angela specialises in non-contentious landlord and tenant matters and acquisition/disposal of commercial premises. Angela also acts for lenders in funding the acquisition of commercial property and residential development.

Ann-Marie is a Solicitor in our Sevenoaks Residential Property Team. She acts in all manners of Residential Property including freehold and leasehold sales, purchases (including new builds), remortgages and transfers of equity, lease extensions and first registrations.
Ann-Marie joined Warners as a trainee solicitor in 2009 subsequent to completing her Law degree at the University of Surrey and achieving a distinction in her Legal Practice Course at The College of Law in Bloomsbury. She qualified into the Residential Property Team in 2011 and after stints of working in London and taking a small career break to raise her daughter, she joined us again in our Sevenoaks Team in early 2022.
Barbara has extensive experience relating to commercial leases, lease renewal and related lease management documentation. She also deals with commercial acquisitions and disposals, property finance, first registration of title, easements and licence agreements.
Before joining Warners in 1999, Barbara worked at Bruttons in Fareham, and was a partner at Argles and Court in Maidstone.

Dealing with property management documentation for clients owning industrial estates and office buildings including lease renewals, surrenders, new leases, rent deposits, licences to alter/assign and updating and reviewing standard estate documents and liaising with managing agents.
Acting on the sale of land with provision for further payment by the buyer in the event of future development.
Advising farmer on granting licences to diversify the use of his land, working with other professional advisers.
Acting on the sale of a development plot by a family trust and advice on the proposed planning obligation documentation

Ben specialises in commercial property, landlord and tenant, and refinancing.

Cate is a solicitor in the family team, based in the Sevenoaks office. Cate was admitted as a solicitor in 1993. She read Law at the Birmingham University before finishing her Law Society Finals with a Distinction in London. Before joining Warners Cate worked in City Law firms Lawrence Graham and Stephenson Harwood specialising in commercial litigation.
Charla is a paralegal in the Court of Protection team. She joined Warners in 2019 having worked in a similar position for a Local Authority in Kent.

Claire has experience in a wide range of Private Client matters including Wills, powers of attorney, administration of estates and Court of Protection work.
Claire is a member of Warners' Elderly and Vulnerable Team which is enthusiastic to be a part of and helping the local community. The team provides advice and guidance to clients as well as the local community and businesses regarding matters such as lasting powers of attorney, mental capacity issues and Court of Protection matters. The team is building awareness and offering support in this important area of law.
Claire joined Warners in 2005 and qualified as a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives in 2014.
Claire has a keen interest in motorcycle racing.

Debbie Moore is a paralegal in the Commercial Property Team in our Sevenoaks Office. She primarily assists Mark Davis, our senior partner, with a variety of commercial property transactions.
Debbie joined Warners Commercial Property Department in 2003, having previously worked within the commercial property team for several London based firms.

Lease renewals, granting of new leases and underleases, Landlord & Tenant Act 1954 Notices, commercial refinancing, commercial freehold and leasehold sales and purchases.

Didem is an Assistant Solicitor in the private client team.
Didem joined Warners in April 2021, having qualified at a firm in London in 2020.
Her experience includes a range of private client matters including wills, powers of attorney and administration of estates.
Eleanor graduated from the University of Leeds with a 2:1 degree in Classical Literature & English before joining Warners in 2015 as a secretary in the Private Client team. She has since progressed to the role of paralegal and is currently training to become a legal executive.
She currently assists the Court of Protection team with various aspects of their work, and is a part of the Elderly and Vulnerable team here at Warners, having undertaken dementia friendly training.
Eleanor has also participated in various charity fundraising events with Warners, including their recent national Three Peaks Challenge.

Georgia joined Warners in 2016 as a trainee legal secretary having completed a legal secretarial course and has since progressed to the role of a paralegal.

Kate has expertise in preparing Lasting Powers of Attorney and is mindful to treat elderly or vulnerable clients with dignity and care.
Kate is able to advise on a wide range of issues arising from the administration of estates, including estates with foreign assets, and high value estates.
She is used to preparing Deeds recording the split in ownership when a property is owned jointly.
Kate has received Dementia Friend training and is a member of the Kent Law Society.
After graduating from the University of Exeter, Kate worked as a paralegal for firms in both the South West and South East before qualifying as a solicitor in 2010. She has worked for regional practices in the South East and joined Warners in 2022.

Lisa is a Partner in the Litigation team. Prior to joining Warners, Lisa trained and qualified in London before working locally in Kent.
Lisa is an experienced litigator and advises on a wide range of civil and commercial litigation matters. She has a particular specialism in estate and probate disputes, Inheritance Act claims and co-ownership disputes.
Lisa also regularly acts for clients in professional negligence claims and property-related disputes.
She has experience in the County Court, High Court and Court of Appeal.

Martin is a partner in the Private Client Department and heads the Court of Protection team. Martin read law at Durham University and qualified in 1991. After working for a specialist personal injury firm in London and firms in East Sussex and Tunbridge Wells, he joined Warners as a partner in 2018.
Martin is a well-known and acknowledged expert in Court of Protection matters. He is recognised as a leading individual by both legal directories, The Legal 500 and Chambers and Partners.
Martin has lectured and written extensively on Court of Protection and elderly client matters. His books include A Practitioner's Guide to the Court of Protection (Bloomsbury) (author of first three editions and contributor to new 4th edition, 2018); contributor to the Law Society's Elderly Client Handbook (joint editor of 3rd edition and contributor to 4th and 5th editions); contributor to Finance & Law for the Older Client (LexisNexis), and Elderly Clients: A Precedent Manual (Jordans, 2016); annual contributor since 2008 to Court of Protection Practice (LexisNexis, 2020). He has lectured extensively on the Mental Capacity Act and Court of Protection practice procedure for Central Law Training, Jordans, LexisNexis, the Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners (STEP) and Solicitors for the Elderly (SFE).

Melanie joined Warners as a secretary in 2013. Since joining Melanie has attained her Paralegal Practice Qualification in Commercial Property and now assists all lawyers in the team with many aspects of client matters.
