Elizabeth serves as Barnum's Chief Marketing Officer, providing strategic direction to a team dedicated to supporting our advisors and building Barnum's brand in the marketplace. By leveraging relationships within Barnum and with outside business partners, Elizabeth has led many transformational initiatives and new business endeavors that have delivered impactful results. In addition, she has integrated the concept of "growth mindset" into the culture at Barnum. In her role as chief of staff, Elizabeth Hiza provides all-encompassing support to drive the continued success of the firm. A major focus of her work is driving Barnum's commitment to be an industry leader in providing financial wellness programs to people at all stages of their lives. She led the charge to launch The Establishment Barnum, a new approach to financial education and literacy focusing on young professionals. She also plays a key leadership role in implementing Barnum's strategic alliance with MetLife to conduct financial wellness workshops for workforces across the country as well as provide guidance to MetLife customers regarding their group life conversion options through the Transition Solutions program. Elizabeth also serves as Barnum's Chief Marketing Officer, providing strategic direction to a team dedicated to supporting our advisors and building Barnum's brand in the marketplace. She has extensive experience collaborating with Barnum's CEO, business managers, and leadership team members to bring innovative products and programs to market and improve operating results. By leveraging relationships within Barnum and with outside business partners, Elizabeth has led many transformational initiatives and new business endeavors that have delivered impactful results. A noted speaker, Elizabeth has spoken at many firm and industry events and has contributed to national and local publications, providing insights on leadership, marketing, growing a successful financial services firm, and mindset and its effects on personal success. She is a graduate of Bryant College with a degree in business administration and is currently pursuing her MBA at the University of New Haven. Elizabeth lives with her husband Chris and their three children in Milford, Connecticut.

Joseph D. Vacca - CFO

As Barnum's Chief Financial Officer, Joe leads a diverse set of Financial operations across the company, ensuring long-term value creation for Barnum's stakeholders. His efforts are focused on optimizing our financial and operational performance, enabling Barnum to reinvest in its people, enhance current capabilities, and develop new strategic initiatives that drive growth and value for our clients and our advisors. Over a career that has spanned more than two decades, Joseph D Vacca has been empowering organizations, teams, and individuals to continuously improve processes and outcomes in pursuit of excellence. As the Chief Financial Officer for Barnum Financial Group, he leads the firm's Finance functions including business planning and analysis, strategic consulting, financial controls, and fiscal management oversight. Prior to joining Barnum, Joe had several key roles at CIGNA Corporation including Vice President of Transformation and Operational Excellence. He served as Head of Enterprise Expense Management and Continuous Improvement Practice Leader for MassMutual Financial Group and had financial leadership roles at AETNA and General Electric earlier in his career. A life-long learner, Joe has a Six Sigma Black Belt Certification and Lean Silver Certification through ASQ. He earned an M.B.A. from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a B.A. in Economics from St. Lawrence University. Joe is also the author of My Value Stream which applies continuous improvement methods to individual and community pursuits to generate more impactful outcomes from our time invested. Joe lives in Connecticut with his wife and two daughters and enjoys outdoor wellness activities such as hiking and biking in his free time, along with writing.

Paul Blanco - CEO, Founder

Paul Blanco is the founder and CEO of Barnum Financial Group, an award-winning provider of comprehensive personalized planning, investment and protection solutions, and financial literacy programs to clients across the United States. Throughout his career, Paul has been a tireless advocate for his firm and the communities it serves as well as for the financial services industry. He began his career at MetLife as a financial services representative in 1991. In just two years, he moved into management, taking over a seven-person MetLife office in Trumbull, Connecticut. Today, Barnum has over 30 offices in Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island. In recognition of his vision and leadership, Paul became the youngest inductee into the MetLife Managers' Hall of Fame. Stefano Martini - CTO

He harnesses the four main elements of technology - automation, security, customer experience, and data - into an integrated approach to driving client and advisor satisfaction and success. Stefano's role as Chief Technology Officer is to provide strategic leadership and hands-on direction to develop, deliver, and evolve an extraordinary, unique, and impactful technology-based experience for our clients, our advisors, our employees, and our business partners. He harnesses the four main elements of technology - automation, security, customer experience, and data - into an integrated approach to driving client and advisor satisfaction and success. Stefano brings his years of experience in transforming businesses, implementing large-scale digital initiatives, achieving operational excellence, and managing purpose-driven, high-performance teams to Barnum's mission of being a national leader in protection and investment solutions, financial wellness, and life-stage financial planning. His vision is to use all aspects of technology to constantly improve advisors' abilities to best serve the needs of their clients in the easiest, most efficient manner possible. Prior to joining Barnum, Stefano was the chief information officer for MassMutual Financial Advisors where he led all aspects of technology, supporting over 80 agencies and over 8,000 advisors across the U.S. During his tenure at MassMutual, he also held a number of senior roles, including leadership on acquisitions, technology transformation efforts, and head of procurement. Stefano has a Master of Business Administration degree in finance and management from the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School of Business and an undergraduate degree in information technology from the University of Massachusetts. In addition to a full agenda at work, Stefano has a full house, including his wife, their four children, three dogs, one cat, and some highly productive chickens. He enjoys traveling, cooking, exercising, and constantly thinking about what technology can do to improve the client experience.
