John G. Ellis

Dr. Ellis began his orthopedic practice in the Temecula Valley and Inland Empire in 1991. He has the experience of over 1000 hip, knee and shoulder replacement surgeries include complicated and revision procedures. A Board-Certified Orthopaedic surgeon since 1993, Dr. John Ellis offers the very latest treatment options in complete orthopaedic care. Dr. Ellis has over 30 years of experience in hip and knee replacement procedures to include primary joint replacements, revisions and the revolutionary Birmingham Hip Resurfacing (BHR) procedure. Dr. Ellis is a professor of orthopaedics at Western University of Health Sciences instructing orthopaedic residents in the orthopaedic residency program at University of California Riverside hospital. Dr. Ellis is on-staff and performs surgeries at all of our local hospitals to include Inland Valley Medical Center, Rancho Springs Medical Center, LLUMC Murrieta, and Temecula Valley Hospital. Dr. Ellis is passionate about his patients and the community he serves. He has been a proud resident of Temecula for over 30 years and has watched the area grow while raising his family. Over the years he has served as the Team Physician for Rancho Christian Community High School and has been involved in many other community projects and endeavors.

Matthew D Robinson

Dr. Robinson began his education by completing his Bachelor's of Science in Biochemistry at the University of California, at Davis. He then attended medical school at Western University of Health Sciences, in Pomona, California. His internship and orthopedic residency were completed at Botsford hospital, a Michigan State University site, in Farmington Hills, Michigan. Dr. Robinson then spent an additional year of specialized training at the University of Alabama, at Birmingham focusing on surgically treating the most severe and complex orthopedic injuries. These injuries include pelvis and acetabular fractures, complex intra-articular fractures (shoulder, elbow, hip, knee, and ankle), scapula fractures, malunions and nonunions, post-traumatic arthritis, bone infections, and complex soft tissue injuries.

Michael H. French

Dr. French is enthusiastic about returning to serve the community where he did his residency training. He strives to provide the most appropriate and personally tailored treatment to your arthritis and general orthopaedic patients. This return is after spending a year away, working at The Scripps Clinic in La Jolla during his fellowship training in orthopaedic lower extremity reconstruction. This included a focus on computer aligned total knee replacement, and cutting edge minimally invasive posterior, and anterior hip replacement surgery, as well as cartilage preservation techniques. Dr. French is enthusiastic about serving the community where he completed his residency training. He strives to provide the most appropriate and personally tailored treatment to arthritis and general orthopaedic patients. Dr. French is fellowship trained in performing hip and knee replacements after completing a Lower Extremity Reconstruction Fellowship at The Scripps Clinic in La Jolla, CA. His practice has a focus on computer aligned total knee replacement, robotic assisted hip and knee replacement and cutting edge minimally invasive hip replacement surgery, as well as cartilage preservation techniques. He can help you with joint pain from arthritis, or if you already have had a joint replacement surgery that is now not working well for you. Dr. French provides these progressive services to the Inland Empire residents, helping them avoid the need to travel out of the area for these specialized services. Dr. French also continues to treat all general orthopaedic conditions. When away from work Dr. French enjoys local outdoor recreation activities with his wife and two children. He is an avid water skier, and they enjoy golfing and horseback riding together.

Steven T. Kelley

Dr. Kelley is a fellowship-trained Orthopedic Surgeon. While treating all types of orthopedic injuries and conditions, he has additional expertise in arthroscopic and reconstructive surgery of the knee and shoulder, and in the treatment of athletic injuries at all levels of competition. Dr. Kelley spent the first two years of his undergraduate training at MidAmerica Nazarene University where he played varsity football and baseball. He completed his degree as a Summa Cum Laude graduate of Arizona State University. While a medical student at Loma Linda University, he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. He also completed his residency training at Loma Linda University, where he was elected as the Orthopedic Resident of the Year in 2005. Dr. Kelley went on to complete the prestigious sports medicine fellowship at the Southern California Center for Sports Medicine in Long Beach, California. During this time he served as team physician for California State University Long Beach, Long Beach City College, and the Ice Dogs, a professional hockey team in the IHL. Providing education to his patients Dr. Kelley is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, the American Society for Sports Medicine and the Arthroscopy Association of North America. He has published several journal articles. Dr. Kelley strives to emphasize education to his patients. He truly believes that an informed patient is a vital part of the medical process, and is committed to providing the highest quality service and most advanced methods of treatment possible to his orthopedic patients.
