PaCES is a team of researchers and knowledge end-users working together to implement evidence-based practices to deliver early and systematic palliative care for Albertans living with serious illness. We aim to improve patient outcomes and health system inefficiencies by increasing the number of patients receiving earlier palliative care... The University of Calgary is situated on land Northwest of where the Bow River meets the Elbow River, a site traditionally known as Moh'kins'tsis to the Blackfoot, Wîchîspa to the Stoney Nakoda, and Guts'ists'i to the Tsuut'ina.
