Wildly spontaneous, incredibly loud, and heavily extraverted are all terribly overused descriptions which don't accurately describe Aaron in the slightest. He picked up the pen at the age of fifteen in an attempt to form a band and get a couple of dates. It worked. Kind of. So he never sat it down. Eventually, he realized that writing could really compel, connect, challenge, and even change people. He became obsessed with good writing and storytelling.
He believes quality content honors the people consuming it by meeting them exactly where they are and speaking directly to them. Good content leaves the consumer feeling deeply understood. Great content leaves them with a deep sense of longing. Aaron tirelessly pursues this sense and seeks to share it with others as often as he can. Though he often settles for making people laugh. That works too.
A life-long gamer, Aaron secretly hopes to one day become Tim Schafer and he would love to buy you a coffee and talk sometime if you know who that is. Aaron somehow tricked his wife into marrying him and he still considers that to be his greatest accomplishment in life five years and one child later.
Caleb is Resound's go-to senior full stack web developer with experience developing object oriented applications using MVC frameworks featuring responsive design, AJAX asynchronous interactions, and API interfaces. Yeah, it's greek to us to. Specializing in writing maintainable, scalable backend PHP infrastructure using SOLID design principals as well as modern SPA's, Caleb blend high-level development with a smooth user experience on the front end.
Caleb's proven ability to work remotely, maintain communication and work in parallel with the rest of Resound's team members on multiple projects in an agile development environment is what makes Caleb an integral part of Resound's workflow.
When not at his computer turning code into awesomeness, Caleb enjoys time with his wife, Mary, and their rescue dog, Kona.
You might recognize Chris's name from the rad new podcast (AZ Brandcast) that he started with Resound's Managing Partner, Mike Jones. Aside from a wicked podcast voice, Chris brings a Journalism degree from the University of Oregon adept teaching skills, entrepreneurial experience, writing chops, and project management know-how to Resound.
Curtis hails from SoCal, but lives in Sacramento with his wife Rebekah. In past lives, he remembers wiping out on a surfboard, taking the stage as an actor, scribbling away as a playwright, and cracking the books with snarky sophomores as an Honors English Teacher.
He joined Resound in 2021, cutting some copy while chasing down an M.F.A. in Creative Writing from New Saint Andrews College. As far as writing fresh content, getting to know team members, and solving problems with editing goes, he's learning a ton and really digging the new adventure. You can check out his writing on Substack.com, where he pens Shelf of Crocodiles, a monthly essay on books and ideas.

As CEO and Managing Partner of Resound, Mike Jones passionately pursues these beliefs with every client as he leads this award-winning B2B branding agency's vision, strategy, and business development. Over the last 15 years he's personally built - or led teams in building - brand experiences for hundreds of brands including Google, HP, Starwood Hotels & Resorts, Shamrock Farms, and Breezes Resorts. In more recent years, he (and all of Resound) have focused on helping specifically B2B businesses with their brand strategy, content marketing, videos, and websites. He has a deep passion for developing customer experiences built on the authentic identity of the brand with the result of keeping customers coming back for more.
Due to his expertise and experience, Mike speaks and facilitates workshops on branding and marketing at a number of marketing-focused events (including Accounting Association of Marketing Summit, Legal Marketing Association annual conference, and PHX Startup Week) as well as for country's top university's and organizations (including Arizona State University, Texas Tech University, American University, Arizona Commerce Authority, and the Better Business Bureau).
With a deep passion for his home state of Arizona and the entrepreneurs that call it home, Mike has co-directed PHX Startup Week in 2019 and 2020, co-founded the startup-supporting non-profit Thrive PHX, serves on the board of Conscious Capitalism Arizona, and is a partner with Social Venture Partners Arizona.
In recognition of his work building Resound, supporting Arizona business communities, and sharing his expertise, Mike Jones was named by the Arizona Republic as one of the state's top 35 entrepreneurs under 35 in 2014, and more recently by the Phoenix Business Journal as one of the city's top 40 Under 40 business leaders in 2020. Resound has also been recognized for their work having won numerous awards including Tempe Chamber of Commerce Business Excellence Award (2019), Clutch Top Branding Agencies Award (2018), EXPERTISE Best Content Marketing Agency in Phoenix (2019), and Ranking Arizona Top Advertising Agencies (with less than 15 employees) in 2021.
Mike lives in very sunny Mesa, Arizona with his wife and three kids. When he's not doing all that stuff above, you can usually find him playing bass guitar (like the rock star he used to be), reading a good (and lengthy) history book, and, of course, sipping a cup of home-roasted coffee.
For Moriah, design is about giving a voice to things that matter. Her mom is an artist who taught her to create (when she wasn't schooling her in movies from the 70s & 80s) and she learned to love web design on her own when she built a blog to raise money for clean water. At Resound, she gets to do that every day - designing meaningful experiences and writing code that brings them to life. In other words, it's her dream job.
Moriah's goal is to one day be the Obi-Wan Kenobi of Front-End Dev. Then, she'll use The Force to make Resound let her work remotely while she hikes every mountain in the world. After that, she'll probably settle down permanently in an RV in Yosemite Valley. By that time, she's hoping they have better WiFi there so she'll still be able to design cool web stuff. Plus, if there's an apocalypse, She'll just hide in a cave behind Yosemite Falls and re-read The Great Gatsby a few times until it's over. She's 100% sure that zombies can't climb waterfalls and don't like classic literature.
On the off chance that she's not drinking coffee and designing, you'll find Moriah listening to vinyl records with her rescue dog, Hudson (named after the Hudson River in New York). She secretly love elephants, but someone made her watch a Youtube video about how they're not nice, so she got Hudson instead. He's a little easier to manage than an elephant when she has her laptop or sketchbook in hand, so it all works out ok.
When it comes to project work, Moriah is a design wizard. She obsesses over every visual detail of what she builds and keeps the user in mind at all times.
Passionate about developing creative and effective visuals to support and further our clients' brands, Rachel brings a BFA in visual communication and more than 10 years of professional design experience to our client projects. Her breadth of knowledge spans both print and digital platforms, and she is comfortable working in a variety of media. When she's not in front of a computer screen, she likes to dabble in watercolors and hand-lettering.

Sam's love for video production and photography began during his college years, when he earned his degree in broadcast journalism from the aforementioned ASU. Shortly after graduating, Sam took his skills with a camera and turned his hobby into a business. He started his own company, Pelican Media, which he grew for eight years to serve small to medium-sized businesses in Arizona and throughout the country with award-winning video production, photography, web development, and collateral design. Telling meaningful stories authentically and creatively is what really gets Sam going and he is thrilled to bring that passion and skillset to the Resound team.
