After 15 years in hospitality, transport and customer service with Disney, Forté and British Airways​, I applied my passion for the environment by starting towards a BSc Honours in Environmental Studies with the Open University. At the same time I became involved with Brighton & Hove Wood Recycling, developing first the collections side of the business and then, following a location change, the retail arm. Using my keen eye for maximising resource use, I set up two new premises on shoestring budgets whilst keeping a close watch on user needs, satisfaction and environmental impact.
