PRAYASGVS

The organization was established in 1982 while it was registered in 1984. The founder of the organization was Shree Udai Narayan Choudhary. He was a Dalit himself and was a student leader of the Lok Nayak Jai Prakash Narayan movement, during emergency. He, along with other young leaders recognized that a peaceful movement by the Dalit for their own cause could lead to the entitlements and rights of the deprived and the marginalized Dalit. Later, several efforts were made for the rights and entitlements of the Dalits in the state and they were quite successful.
