Dr. Charles Nguyen

Dr. Charles Nguyen is the medical director of the Lorphen Medical Weight Loss Clinic. He earned his Medical Degree from the University of California, Irvine, where he completed his psychiatry residency training and, as a faculty member, won excellence in teaching awards for seven consecutive years. He also won the Thomas F. Riley Community Service Award, the NAMI Bridge Builder Award, and the 2010 Orange County Physicians of Excellence Award. That year, Orange Coast Magazine recognized him as best physician. His extensive research, clinical experience, teaching, and training in psychiatry offer a unique perspective to help his patients lose weight. His work on weight issues has appeared in various journals, and he frequently speaks at conferences. Dr. Clint Salo

Dr. Clint Salo was born and raised in Whittier, CA but currently resides in North Orange County with his family. In 2004, he graduated with his Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Brigham Young University, Provo, UT. Along the way, he took a two-year hiatus to participate in a volunteer religious mission in Santiago, Chile thereby allowing him to gain fluency in Spanish. Upon completing his undergraduate degree, he moved to Henderson, NV to attend Touro University College of Osteopathic Medicine. He successfully completed his degree in medicine in 2008. His next adventure began with his acceptance to the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine psychiatric residency training program in Las Vegas. During his last year of training, he had the opportunity to work as chief resident on behalf of his fellow trainees. In June of 2012, Dr. Salo successfully completed his training and returned "home" to accept a position with Progeny Psychiatric Group. Dr. Salo currently provides care for patients in the following settings: inpatient, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, skilled nursing, assisted living, and independent living.

Dr. Geoffrey Di Bella

Dr. Di Bella is a board-certified psychiatrist. Dr. Di Bella completed his Internship at Interfaith Medical Center and Psychiatric Residency at New York Medical College, Metropolitan Hospital Center. He has held various faculty positions and authored multiple publications in his field, as well as holding the position of Major in the United States Army Medical Corps and Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Army Reserves. Dr. Di Bella has been in private practice in Newport Beach since 1995. Dr. Di Bella practices general psychiatry, psychopharmacology, and individual therapy. His practice philosophy is one of individualized treatment in a considerate, collaborative, and caring environment.foundation of his treatment. Dr. Jason Kellogg

Dr. Jason Kellogg graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelors Degree in Chemistry. He then went on to Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio where he obtained his medical degree. Subsequently, he attended the University of California, Irvine and completed his residency training including Chief Residency. He served two terms as the Chairman of the Department of Neurology and Psychiatry at Hoag Hospital in Newport Beach, California. While he was at Hoag Hospital, Dr. Kellogg was awarded Physician of the Year. He currently serves as Chief of Staff at Newport Bay Hospital.

Kelly Eguchi

Kelly Eguchi is a licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She earned both her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science Degrees in Nursing from California State University, Long Beach. Since starting her career as a Registered Nurse, Kelly has worked alongside, advocated for, and assisted individuals in their journeys towards improving their mental health. She has worked with adolescents, young adults, and older adults and has gained a well-rounded knowledge in inpatient, outpatient, and psychiatric crisis stabilization. Her philosophy of practice is guided by her deep respect for each person's own lived experiences, as well as hope that people can recover from mental illnesses. Kelly provides holistic and personalized care to promote her clients' mind, body, and spiritual well-being. She offers evidence-based care while maintaining a supportive, compassionate, and judgement-free environment for her clients. Kelly strives to include trauma-informed care in her practice to create a safe space for all clients, and is passionate about reducing stigma against mental illnesses in the community. Her goal is to foster strong and trusting relationships with her clients and for clients to be as healthy and happy as possible.

Michelle Nguyen

Michelle is a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner in Family Medicine. She received her Master's of Science in Nursing from Charles R. Drew University. After graduating, she worked at an Urgent Care and joined a Medical Group in Los Angeles, California. Her experience showed the gap between medical and psychiatric care and how that connection is often ignored. This encouraged Michelle to pursue psychiatric- mental health. Before joining Progeny Psychiatric Group, Michelle's experience includes several years of working for a Psychiatric Group in Calabasas, CA where she saw young to older adults including dementia related cases. Her heart and passion is not only in caring for others but assisting patient's in transitioning to wellness. Michelle loves to travel the world and she loves being exposed to different cultures and learning about their food. She likes being outdoors, hiking, and camping. Michelle currently lives in Huntington Beach, CA with her husband and their 2 children.
