My experience with Joe and the staff at PTSMC has been outstanding. The staff is friendly, professional and very accommodating. I would give them 10 stars if I could. I have worked in the medical industry for years and have providers who have become friends and they sometimes agree to waive deductibles for me. With that said when you are doing something outside of the norm relating to billing it is not uncommon for me to still receive a bill for the full amount as that is how the billing system is set up to respond. I simply pick up the phone and bring it to their attention for a manual override and quick fix. In reading Mark's comment, I wonder if that is what may have happened to him as I have found Joe and the staff to be very honest.I have had PT at other clinics over the years and often times they can be rather cold and sterile, where this clinic provides a warm and inviting environment..............heck they even have a riddle of the day board and collect canned goods and toys for the less fortunate. Give them a try and you won't be sorry.
I was treated at Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine in Westbrook CT. Brian Baker is an extraordinary physical therapist. He's a talented and caring professional. The entire team there treats everyone with respect from the front desk to the therapy rooms. The faculty is immaculately clean. I'm very impressed.

Professional, energetic, knowledgeable... Travis and his staff are top notch. I not only send my patients there when they need rehab, but I've rehabbed my fractured ankle there and more recently a herniated disc in my low back. Now my daughter is there rehabbing her knee from a soccer injury. They've taken excellent care of us and my patients every time.

I have been battling a sciatic nerve issue and have been working with Brian and Erica for a few weeks with excellent relief and progress. After a recent set back, my protocol had to change. Brian was able to make necessary adjustments and quickly modify what needed to be done to get immediate relief. Most notably, Brian offered to set me up on the traction machine even on my off days before hours just to get me some relief before the day. I have been to other PT places in the past. PTSMC of New Milford to me is on a different level in terms of knowledge, experience and customer service. In the past couple of years, Brian has also worked with both of my children with sports injuries. Every time was an excellent experience. I would not go anywhere else.
Probably the most welcoming physical therapy place I've been to. Unlike places I've gone in the past, the therapists are attentive and don't leave you hangin' wondering what to do next when you finish your exercises. They were very accommodating and are flexible to work with your schedule. They even were able to get a band to me during COVID-19 quarantine when I was unable to go to therapy so I could keep up with my exercises at home. 15/10 would recommend.

Joe Allen, the Director of the Newington center is by far the best physical therapist Ive ever gone too. I have a complicated neck problem along with issues with dizziness which requires trust with a therapist. He is very professional and knowledgeable. He is definitely my go to person with questions. I highly recommend seeing Joe or any members of his staff.

PT's and PT assistants are all pleasant, and hard working. I have had a number of different staff, and each one is excellent at their job. I worked on an ortho floor for many years as a nurse, so I know what I'm talking about.I will be glad to recommend this company to all who ask!

Shelby is an excellent personal trainer - the personalized training plan and 1-1 training in a small setting has had a significant positive impact on my strength and endurance - I'm getting stronger every week- she is very positive and encouraging and has helped me set realistic goals which I am achieving.Mary Scanlon
They are great there. Everyone is very friendly and takes the time to really explain the exercise I am to do, and answer any questions I have. They really listen to my complaints and to my progress reports. Definitely recommend them.

Todd Cacopardo is the pincipal here. He was my therapist. He is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Beautiful new facility. The entire staff is very knowledgeable and customer focused. I highly recommend.
Todd is an incredible physical therapist who is extremely knowledgeable and very courteous. He has successfully rid me of shoulder pain from a motor vehicle accident as well as my consistent lower back pain.
