The Tax code changed dramatically in 2018, these changes rolled into 2019, and beyond. Congress made many late changes to the tax code that affected 2020 taxes, making the season a tumultuous one. Many Taxpayers experienced major refund delays with their federal return. Covid_19 tax code responses, have for the most part sunset in 2021 tax year filings. For the most part tax year 2022 saw most of the rules reverted back to 2019 Pre-Covid tax laws.
