Allison graduated from Salve Regina University in 2017 with a Bachelors degree in Social Work. She continued her education and obtained a Masters degree in Social Work from West Chester University in 2021. Allison gained field experience through working with individuals struggling with Substance use disorder, at both inpatient and outpatient settings, including RCA Devon. Allison recognizes the importance of a safe environment in order for clients to express their feelings and thrive in their lives of recovery, along with developing strong therapeutic repour with her clients. Allison implements various theoretical orientations to provide holistic care, utilizing Motivational Interviewing (MI) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
Amanda Hildebrandt, BS, CADAC II joined RCA in November of 2020. Amanda received her Bachelor's of Science in Psychology from Indiana University and used that to develop her career in child and family services. After seeing the impact that substance use disorders had on family systems she transitioned into the correctional setting as a substance abuse counselor for the Indiana Women's Prison. There she moved from counselor to director and ran the Recovery While Incarcerated program for all of the female offenders that suffered from substance use disorders including the pregnant and parenting mothers.
Amanda believes in the biopsychosocial approach to treatment. She is currently obtaining her Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy. She is part of the Corporate Training Team and brings an educated and passionate element to training all of the new employees at RCA Indianapolis. She works alongside the other leadership and specialty areas in the building to make sure all staff are supported in their specific training needs so the patients have 5-star treatment in every realm of services while at RCA. Amanda was born and raised in Indiana and is proud to be part of the mission to bring quality substance abuse treatment to those in her home state.
With over a decade of experience in the Mental Health & Human Services field, Ashley Fuery has been trained in many crisis de-escalation techniques, including NAPPI, NVPI, TCI, and CPI. As a Certified Intervention Professional (CIP), Ashley excels at building an appropriate, trusting rapport with her clients, as her passion for helping people with mental health and substance abuse drives her motivation.
Ashley is no stranger to addiction; she lost her step-brother to the disease two years ago. She's committed her career to helping patients and their families get on the road to recovery. She often reminds families of her favorite quote: "Don't hate the addict, hate the disease. Don't hate the person, hate the behavior. If it's hard to watch it, imagine how hard it must be to live it."
Ashley is a big advocate of treating patients alongside of their families. It's easy to forget who the person struggling with addiction was before their disease - Ashley's goal is to rediscover that person on their way to recovery and mend the family.

Bob has worked for RCA Devon since June of 2019, initially starting as an RSS. He then became a Lead RSS and eventually moved into the Recovery Instructor position before becoming an Alumni Coordinator. Bob has a strong passion for 12-step recovery and helping patients to navigate their own path and have their own recovery experience.

Brian Foster began working in the Substance Abuse industry approximately 5 years ago, at Indiana's oldest and largest men's recovery house. As the Director of Operations for the premier recovery house in the state, he gained a vast knowledge of addiction treatment. As a person in long term recovery, he understands the challenges people with addiction face on a daily basis, which fuels his passion for working in this field. Brian will graduate next year with a Bachelor's degree in Business Management from IUPUI, which he aspires to continue to use in his career at RCA.

Bridgette Vail, MA MBA is a seasoned Behavioral Health Care Professional with over 20 years of experience. With a diverse background and advanced degrees in both the Healthcare and Business Industries, Bridgette has developed and led large teams, supervised a variety of professionals and navigated complex healthcare challenges. As a former Director of Admissions and Utilization Review Bridgette recognizes the importance of care coordination and the care management process.
Britnee is a primary therapist in the outpatient department at recovery centers of America Devon. She earned her Master's degree at Eastern University in Clinical Counseling Psychology with a concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis. During her schooling, she completed her Master's level internships in children's counseling, mental health counseling, and substance abuse counseling. Britnee's experience at RCA Devon began as an intern, which allowed her to gain clinical experience in facilitating groups and supporting clients throughout their recovery journey. In addition, Britnee has experience working with children as an ABA therapist, implementing behavioral interventions. She is currently working towards licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor.

Caitlin Kish, MA, MT-BC is a Board-Certified Music Therapist and a Primary Therapist for Recovery Centers of America in the Intensive Outpatient Program. Cait has over 10 years of experience working with co-occurring and addiction populations in all levels of care, including inpatient and outpatient. Cait began her music therapy studies at the University of Georgia. She completed a six-month internship at the Palmetto Hospital System in South Carolina, and later, obtained a master's degree in Music Therapy and Counseling from Drexel University. Cait utilizes a person-centered, strengths-based approach and strives to provide the best trauma-informed, evidence-based, and ethical care to all her clients. In session, she aids her clients in creating an individualized lifestyle of recovery that includes expanding recovery and sober supports, implementation of coping and relapse prevention skills, healthy communication skills, and boundary setting. When not working as a music therapist and counselor, Cait enjoys listening to and creating music, spending time outdoors, hiking, riding horses, and practicing yoga and meditation.
Casey Carle, MSS, LSW is a primary therapist in the outpatient department at Recovery Centers of America - Devon. Casey attended Bryn Mawr College where she earned her Master's of Social Service degree and had concentrated studies in Clinical Social Work. She is currently a Licensed Social Worker and is working towards licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Casey has experience in mental health, eating disorders, and substance use treatment. She has worked in a variety of clinical settings that include an outpatient medical program, an emergency department, and an inpatient mental health hospital. Casey has training in Crisis Prevention and Intervention techniques and is educated in trauma-informed practices and Attachment-Based psychotherapy. She has completed numerous research theses including the benefits of attending a support group when given a cancer diagnosis and providing trauma-informed care in an emergency department. She focuses on narrative, solution-focused, and person-centered therapies to support individuals in their recovery journey.

Corey brings a wealth of experience, knowledge and skill to RCA at Lighthouse addiction treatment center in New Jersey. She believes strongly in the power of patient advocacy, and is personally and professionally invested in RCA's mission to save one million lives.
Corey has 10 years of experience in addiction/psychiatric care, initially beginning in case management and then expanding to mental health screener in a psychiatric crisis center, which is where she found her true passion in helping those in a crisis state to stabilize and take their first step to wellness and recovery.
Corey completed her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at The College of New Jersey and obtained her Master of Science in Psychology from Walden University.
5 years ago, Craig felt led to a position in Peer Recovery and wanted to utilize his pain to help others. After serving in both the Homeless and Community peer populations he was assigned to the Hospital Emergency Room and Mental Health Wards in Anne Arundel County to help those experiencing overdoses and Substance Use Disorders. It is here where he found a new purpose to help those struggling to overcome both their addictions and find a way to recovery.
Craig is excited to join RCA as the Mid Atlantic Interventionist so he can help those find recovery before the visits to Emergency rooms and Mental health wards begin.
I joined RCA Indianapolis in November of 2020 as a Receptionist and became the Administrative Assistant and Supervisor for Reception in September of 2021 for inpatient treatment. I am currently enrolled at Ivy Tech Community College working towards a degree in Business Administration.
When I joined RCA I was not sure what my future would be within the company, but I knew I wanted to work for an organization with a mission to help others and RCA aligns with that mission. I am so thankful for the opportunities RCA has given me and looking forward to more future opportunities.
Outside of RCA I have a passion for nature and animals. My partner and I are outdoor enthusiasts, we camp, hike and kayak every chance we get and rescue animals that are in need of help. We are also avid gardeners growing herbs, vegetables and fruit trees.

Darius Brannon, MSEd, LCAC, LICDC (OH), joined Recovery Centers of America (RCA) in December of 2021 as a Clinical Supervisor and promoted to his current position as Clinical Director in April 2022. Prior to joining RCA, he worked at New Vista Outpatient Recovery Center (Opioid Treatment Center) as Program (2021), Program Manager of an Inpatient Detox Unit at an Acute Behavioral Health Hospital (Valle Vista) (2020-2021).
Darius has worked in the Addictions field for approximately eleven years in several different capacities including the Forensic Treatment Services Clinical Director of the Recovery Works Program for the State of Indiana Division of Mental Health and Addiction (DMHA), Addictions Therapist at Edgewater Health (Gary, IN), Addictions Specialist at Regional Mental Health Center (East Chicago, IN). He also has 14 years' experience in law enforcement as a Gary and Cincinnati Police Officer.

David Dorschu, MS, has over eighteen years of experience in the substance abuse field, serving in various leadership positions which incorporate the entire continuum of care, including Clinical Director, Risk Management Director, QA Director, Outpatient Program Director, and currently as Chief Executive Officer of the RCA at Raritan Bay drug and alcohol addiction treatment center. David began his tenure at RCA in 2016 as CEO of the Lighthouse, a 133-bed inpatient rehab center in Mays Landing, NJ. David has utilized these various leadership roles to form a treatment philosophy based on the latest, empirically supported research.

David Zach serves as Senior Vice President of Strategic Payor Relations at Recovery Centers of America. As an experienced executive, he brings a proven history within healthcare industries to bear in executing his vision for payor strategy.

Dawn Belamarich Berry, LPC, LCADC, CCS, CCGC is excited to bring her experience as a leader and clinician into her new role as Senior Vice President, Clinical and Operational Excellence. Upon completing two master's degrees and working in various social service and treatment settings, Dawn found a permanent home within the social service fabric of South Jersey. For over a decade, Dawn has been an influential leader within the field, carrying roles such as therapist, supervisor, and administrator, and she developed an unrelenting passion for working with those dealing with addiction. From working with adults in a state prison environment to working with youth in intensive outpatient and aftercare modalities.
Dawn has not only developed a concrete understanding of how addiction works but has also developed the most important characteristic in addiction and mental health treatment: knowing how to best guide individuals on their journey to bring about positive sustainable change. In her new role as Senior Vice President, Clinical and Operational Excellence, Dawn hopes to continue to aid individuals in bringing about positive change on their path to recovery.

Deanna Telese is Chief Administrative Officer at Recovery Centers of America. In this role, Mrs. Telese oversees the finance, accounting, payroll, accounts payable, purchasing, billing, accounts receivable, compliance and quality departments. She is integrally involved in the day-to-day operations of RCA and has been a key member of the leadership team that has guided the acquisition and development of seven inpatient facilities, seven outpatient locations and the first of a chain of Medically Assisted Treatment clinics as well as a lab performing COVID-19 testing.
Prior to joining RCA, Mrs. Telese worked as a key member of the executive team in the role of VP-Corporate Controller at NHS Human Services, Inc. where she designed, implemented and managed NHS' accounting, budget, and internal control processes.

Deni Carise, Ph.D. is a Clinical Psychologist and part of the recovery community for over 30 years. She is currently Chief Scientific Officer of Recovery Centers of America (RCA) and Adjunct Assistant Professor at University of Pennsylvania. RCA is dedicated to creating neighborhood-based treatment and recovery campuses that include detoxification, residential, partial hospital, intensive and traditional outpatient, and family services, all available on one campus. Beginning in March 2016, they opened 6 such campuses, 2 in MA and MD, and 1 each in PA and NJ, multiple outpatient programs and one opioid treatment program. Their goal is to get 1 million Americans into meaningful recovery.
Dr Carise is currently an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the University of Pennsylvania, Perelman School of Medicine (since 1997). She has been affiliated with UPENN since completing a NIDA Post-Doctoral fellowship at the Center for Studies of Addiction in the Department of Psychiatry from 1994-1996. She earned both her Bachelor's Degree and Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Hahnemann (now Drexel) University, she interned at Homewood (part of the Johns Hopkins Health system) and Union Memorial hospitals in behavioral medicine.
Interventionist Desmond Kane MA, CADC joins the RCA Interventionist team with over 10 years of behavioral health experience. Desmond has held many roles that have contributed to his understanding and compassion for the disease of addiction, including outpatient counselor, clinical supervisor, residential counselor, program supervisor, and clinical outreach coordinator. He looks forward to bringing this experience to RCA, where he'll dedicate his time to healing families and helping loved ones cope with the disease of addiction.

"As an interventionist, I am able to navigate these topics and needs by showing the family dignity and respect, which usually addiction has been stealing from their family for way too long. Dr. McWilliams is a graduate of Temple University School of Medicine. She trained in Internal Medicine at Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia. Dr. McWilliams is Board certified in Internal Medicine and Addiction Medicine, and has been practicing since 2007. She has served as an attending physician for the Department of Public Health at a community health center in Philadelphia and the Medical Director at Inglis House, a nursing home in Philadelphia, PA. Her interest includes addiction medicine and treating patients with co-occurring mental health and substance abuse disorders. She acted as the lead Physician at Malvern institute, a drug and alcohol rehab facility in Malvern, PA. She has served as the Medical Director at Recovery Center of America in Devon, PA a comprehensive drug and alcohol addiction treatment facility, since August 2017.
Dr. Heidi Ginter, MD, FASAM has nearly two decades of experience working in the addiction treatment field, is Board Certified in Addiction Medicine, and is a prominent voice in medication for addiction treatment (MAT). MAT, the use of FDA-approved medications in combination with counseling and behavioral therapies, is widely considered to be the evidence-based best practice for battling addiction to opioids and other drugs.
Dr. Ginter graduated from Yale University and earned her doctorate at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. She has lectured extensively on MAT and opioid use disorder. Dr. Ginter started her career as a family doctor for underserved populations and eventually found a passion for helping pregnant women struggling with addiction. Prior to joining RCA, she was the Chief Medical Officer for an outpatient addiction treatment provider with opioid treatment programs at 16 sites in Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire and Connecticut.

Dr. Hyong Un, MD, is the Chief Medical Officer, at Recovery Centers of America. He leads the development and implementation of the clinical behavioral health strategy for Recovery Center of America. He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania's School of Medicine and completed his residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Un has deep experience in health care spanning 30 years. Prior to joining RCA, he was the Chief Psychiatric Officer for Aetna /CVS where he led the design and oversaw the implementation of Aetna's behavioral health and employee assistance program. He was also the psychiatrist-in-chief for Friends Hospital and Penn Friends Behavioral Health System, a provider-owned managed behavioral health organization. Dr. Un's clinical interests are in psychopharmacology, workplace mental health and determinants of overall health and wellbeing. Dr. Un has served on multiple boards including advisory board to the Director of National Institute of Mental Health, APA's Center for Workplace Mental Health, Association for Behavioral Health and Wellness, and National Depression Center of Excellence.
Dr. Mark Harris, DO is Board Certified in Family Medicine and has practiced as a family care physician and addiction treatment professional throughout the mid-Atlantic region.
He joins our team at Bracebridge Hall with over 20 years of experience in family and addiction medicine. After earning his medical degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Harris completed a Family Medicine residency at Christiana Hospital in Newark, Delaware.
Dr. Michael S. DeShields, MD, is a graduate of the Temple University School of Medicine. An Internist, Dr. DeShields has specialized in addiction medicine for more than 36 years and holds his Board Certification in Addiction Medicine. Dr. Deshields has a practice in Blackwood, NJ, and is a member of the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) and the American Board of Addiction Medicine.
He has served as the Medical Director for Delaware Valley Medical, Camden County Health Services, Camden County Department of Health & Human Services, Kennedy Health Systems Methadone Clinic, Turning Point Drug and Alcohol Treatment, as well as Recovery Services of NJ.

Dr. Peter Vernig serves as Vice President of Mental Health Services at Recovery Centers of America. In this role, he oversees mental health care across the organization, including outpatient, inpatient and digital health, as well as the expansion of mental health services into new market and service lines. He has experiences in a wide range of settings and clinical populations and expertise with many different facets of modern behavioral healthcare.
Dr. Vernig holds a PhD in Clinical Psychology from Suffolk University and an MBA in Healthcare Management from West Texas A&M University. He is licensed as a psychologist in Pennsylvania and holds faculty appointments at Drexel University College of Medicine and the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He is an associate editor of the Journal of Substance Use and the president of the Philadelphia Behavior Therapy Association.
Prior to RCA, Dr. Vernig served as Chief Clinical Officer at Friends Hospital, the oldest private psychiatric hospital in the United States.

Eli Naparstek, LMHC, brings over six years of experience to Recovery Centers of America at Danvers.
Eli graduated from the University of Massachusetts Boston with a Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling, alongside of a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Hartford. His past experience includes Behavioral Health Clinician, Group Therapy Supervisor/Utilization Review Coordinator, and Care Clinician.
Gene Purdie, LPC is a licensed therapist with the mental health outpatient department of Recovery Centers of America. He is a licensed professional counselor specializing in family therapy and co-occurring addiction treatment.
Gene completed his graduate studies at Liberty University, earning his master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a specialization in family therapy. Since then, he has worked in outpatient, long-term residential, and inpatient settings for both nonprofit and for-profit organizations. Most recently, he worked with RCA as an inpatient primary and family therapist.
Gene's focus in therapy is to help individuals solve their problems in the context of the family system, and he is skilled at accomplishing this through individual, couple, and family sessions.
Gwenn is a Family Specialist, working with couples and families in recovery from substance use in the Inpatient and Digital settings at Recovery Centers of America. Gwenn earned her Master's degree in Couple and Family Therapy from Drexel University. She also completed a training with the Opioid Workforce Expansion Program. During her Master's, she completed an internship at RCA working in the women's trauma program, mature women's program, and young adult program. Gwenn believes that authentic connection and engaging, healthy life experiences are essential for families. She hopes to create a space that demonstrates the value of family work in recovery.

Heather Frye APRN, PMHNP-BC, MSN, MBA is a Board-Certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and serves as the Clinical Director at Recovery Centers of America, Bracebridge Hall.
Heather came to RCA from Drexel University, her alma mater, where she served as the Track Director for the PMHNP Program. Heather specializes in the assessment and treatment of co-occurring disorders and collaborates intensely with the clinical team to individualize patient care.
She has co-presented Give Power to Word of Mouth: Adding a Clinical Education Component to a Community Service Program on Heroin at the International Nurses Society on Addiction conference and presented Spread HOPE (Heroin Opioids Public Education): Nursing Pearls for Patient Education at the Delaware Nurses Association Annual Conference.

Janine Gilchrist joined Recovery Centers of America at Danvers in 2018. With a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and as a licensed Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts,
Janine brings years of experience and knowledge to RCA. Previous experience includes Senior Director of Nursing Services, Regional Clinical & Quality Outcomes Manager, Nursing Supervisor and Nurse Manager, and Regional Discharge Manager.
Jennifer Sharaba is the S HRBP at Indianapolis. Jennifer holds both a Bachelor's degree and a Master's degree in Human Resources Management from Concordia University, St. Paul where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. Jennifer has been an HR practitioner for 11 years and has worked mostly in the healthcare industry. Jennifer is a Certified Agile Professional (CAP), has her Six Sigma Black Belt (SSBB) certification, Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) certification as well being a certified practitioner and advocate of Veterans at Work (VAW) from The Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM).
Jennifer is a People Enthusiast, Platinum Rule Evangelist and a Director of Positivity. She is passionate about driving company culture and HR initiatives to help drive the success of a business. She gets great satisfaction working in an environment where she can be a part of the magic and effort to boost morale and drive strategic change, including organizational development and employee engagement.

Jenny has a Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Rider University. She has worked as a therapist in drug and alcohol treatment programs as well as mental health programs. She has extensive experience in group and individual therapy. Jenny is a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) and Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC). She is working toward completing state licensure in the state of Pennsylvania.
Jillian Mozitis, MSW, RD, LDN is registered dietitian that specializes in the recovery of eating disorders. Jillian has worked with individuals with eating disorders in the inpatient, partial, intensive outpatient and group settings. Jillian believes in a non-diet approach with a goal of eating intuitively, nourishing the body, and optimizing nutritional health. Jillian earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology at East Stroudsburg University. After finding how much of an impact nutrition has on wellness, she decided to complete her dietetic internship through La Salle University's Coordinated Program in Dietetics. Jillian recently obtained her Master's in Social Work to provide nutrition psychotherapy for individuals that struggle with their relationship with food and/or their body. While helping individuals with eating disorders is her primary focus, Jillian also enjoys helping people with general health and wellness concerns.

Joseph Kerstetter, LSW is a licensed social worker and a generalist practitioner. Joe began his career counseling students at Stockton University in an outpatient setting and meeting the needs of a diverse student population. Joe transitioned to employment with Enlightened Solutions and gained experience providing IOP and PHP services for substance use disorders.
Joe has experience treating various mental health conditions and substance use disorders at all outpatient levels of care. Joe places an emphasis on balance and creating a life that is manageable in recovery.
Joe came to RCA with a passion to serve an underserved and stigmatized population. Joe is currently running a partial care program that involves group therapy with an emphasis on skills to assist with transitioning from a residential to outpatient setting, boundaries, codependency, relapse prevention, and understanding the relation between mental health and addiction. Joe includes the option for family sessions and holds individual sessions with group members as part of the therapeutic milieu.

Julie's journey with RCA started in October 2018 when she came through our doors as a patient. She describes her life as being turned completely around through the treatment she received at RCA and when she was introduced to the Alumni Association. She immediately got involved and in service as an alumni volunteer. In November 2019, she took a leap of faith leaving behind an accounting career and began her journey as an employee working as a Patient Specialist in the Mission Center. Quickly, she advanced to Associate Treatment Advisor, then to Treatment Advisor. When the opportunity came to onboard with the Alumni Team, she says for her, "it was a no brainer because this is where my passion has been all along." As a person in recovery, Julie's hunger to help others is unmeasurable and she will gladly fight alongside anyone struggling and their loved ones to help them get to the freedom she was so freely given.

Karen Wolownik Albert, LCSW joins RCA with over 20 years of experience in progressive behavioral health leadership. As a frequent public speaker and advisor regarding local, state, and federal behavioral health issues and initiatives, she is also a subject matter expert on in substance use issues and treatment, juvenile justice and child welfare, therapeutic intervention, and case management.
Karen was the recipient of the 2018 Dr. C. Vincent Bakeman Memorial Award presented by the Illinois Association for Behavioral Health for her work in connecting patients to treatment and improving the system of care for persons struggling with Substance Use Disorder. Karen serves on the Board of Directors of the Lake County Opioid Initiative and Live4Lali. She worked on the core team of Task Force members in the development and launch of the nationally recognized A Way Out Program, a law enforcement deflection program for persons seeking Substance Use Disorder treatment.
She looks forward to expanding addiction treatment in Illinois and continuing RCA's mission of saving one million lives, one neighborhood at a time.
Kat Stevens is the CEO of Recovery Centers of America at Westminster and Interim CEO of Recovery Centers of America at Danvers. She has a BS in Psychology, with a concentration in Women's Studies. She also has an MA in Counseling Psychology with concentrations in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Child & Family Interventions and is a Massachusetts Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC). With over 13 years of experience in Behavior Healthcare, including 10 years of working especially with substance use and co-occurring disorder treatments, Kat has provided leadership in multiple modalities of treatment, including acute treatment services, inpatient and residential services, and community-based support professionals. In recognition of her outstanding achievements, Kat was awarded 40 under 40 Top Leader by the Worcester Business Journal.
Kat's background is in project management, clinical treatment, direct care, training facilitation, and quality improvement, with clinical experience in CBT, suicidality assessment, motivational interviewing, group, individual, community-based, and family therapies. She also has experience working with diverse populations, such as trauma survivors, LGBTQI, adolescents, adults, and families. Stevens provides quality, patient-centered, individualized treatment to help engage and support patients and their families in a safe, therapeutic environment.
KC Poore was born and raised in Cecil County, Maryland and grew up the grounds of Bracebridge Hall while assisting his dad in his position as the Estate Caretaker. KC has twenty years of combined experience in grounds maintenance, operations, fleet management, and facilities. Prior to joining the team at BBH, KC owned and operated his own company which specialized in maintenance management, supply chain management, recruiting, and grounds maintenance. As the Facilities Director at BBH, KC is responsible for facilities management, contracts planning, vender relationships, performance, schedule, compliance, budget management, expense reporting, and safety and risk management.
Kelsi Linville, MA joined Recovery Centers of America at Indianapolis as the Director of Admissions in January 2022. She brings over a decade of experience in the behavioral health field, including work with children, families, and adults with serious mental illness and co-occurring substance use disorders. While much of that time was spent in direct service, she also worked in program development as the Bureau Chief of Adults with Mental Illness and Co-occurring Disorders at the Indiana Family and Social Services Administration's Division of Mental Health and Addiction. Additionally, she served as the state's Disaster Behavioral Health Coordinator and Director of Crisis Services, during which time she was instrumental in the launch of the Be Well Crisis Helpline, a statewide phoneline providing free, confidential 24/7 crisis counseling to anyone in the state of Indiana.
Kelsi is motivated by a wholehearted belief in the inherent worth and dignity of all people and feels it's a privilege to play a role in helping people discover, embrace, and live out their worth. Much of her career has been focused on ensuring individuals in need have timely access to appropriate care and she is grateful to continue that work at Recovery Centers of America at Indianapolis.
Kevin McClure serves as Chief Financial Officer of Recovery Centers of America. In this capacity, Mr. McClure oversees finance, accounting, information technology, business development and project management, as well as operational oversight of Genetworx. This involves providing data and information to operators to serve RCA's patients most effectively and to ensure financing is available to expand services to treat as many patients as possible.
Prior to RCA, Mr. McClure served as CFO at Merakey (formerly NHS Human Services) for 15 years, bearing responsibilities similar to those at RCA. Before that, he was a manager at Grant Thornton LLP, focusing on healthcare clients.

Kristin Gerber joined RCA Indianapolis in November of 2020 as the Administrative Assistant for inpatient treatment. She graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelor of Arts in Law and Society and comes to RCA with extensive administrative and procurement experience. She supports the leadership team at RCA Indianapolis to ensure they have everything they need to most effectively treat patients and provide the 5 star level of care that RCA is known for. LaTanya Thomas completed her bachelor's degree in psychology from Rutgers State University and then her master's degree in administrative science at Fairleigh Dickenson University. She also completed 270 hours of specialized substance addiction training with New Jersey Prevention Network. Latanya has experience across a variety of treatment settings including: MAT and Inpatient mental health/substance abuse. She is bubbly, holistic, strength-based and prefers to utilize a persons centered approach to guide her individual interactions with population served.
After earning her master's degree in Counseling Psychology from Immaculata University, Laura Fidorowicz, MA, LPC, NCC, jumped into the social services field, staying there for almost 2 decades. Laura began her career in child welfare and community-based adolescent mental health services, eventually moving to Behavioral Health Administration. Throughout the years, Laura has held several different positions, including program oversight, regulations monitoring, clinical review and care authorization, and program expansion. Most recently, Laura served as the Single County Authority Administrator for Delaware County, Pennsylvania, where she was dedicated to offering equitable and quality evidence-based and supported services to all individuals seeking substance use prevention and treatment programs.

Lynn has been studying and practicing yoga for over 15 years and completed her first yoga teacher training certification in 2001. Marcus Smith is CEO of Recovery Centers of America Capital Region. Meghan Szafran, MS, LPC, CT has been in the behavioral health field for over 20 years. She has extensive experience in the fields of grief, trauma, and substance use disorder. Meghan started her career working with adolescents who struggle with substance use and continued on to work with families and individuals as a clinician, supervisor, and program director in the Philadelphia metro region. Most recently, Meghan served as the Clinical Director at Kolmac Outpatient Recovery Centers and is thrilled to be leading RCA's outpatient services at Devon. Melissa Carr, MA, CAADC is the Clinical Supervisor of the Outpatient department for Recovery Centers of America, Devon location. Melissa is a masters-level therapist who specializes in group therapy, experiential therapy and co-occurring addiction treatment. She completed her graduate studies at Rosemont College, where she was trained as a trauma informed clinician that addressed the mind, body and spirit connection. Michelle Lajara Graduated from Salem State University in 2017 with a bachelor's degree in Political Science and Law. While at Salem State, she was president of the Latino American Student Organization and rules committee chair for the student government. After graduation, Michelle went back home to Lawrence, Massachusetts and entered the nonprofit world while working at Greater Lawrence Family Health Center. Morgan Poons, LSW is a primary therapist of the Outpatient department for Recovery Centers of America, Devon location. Morgan earned an MSW from the Smith School for Social Work and has been working in addiction and co-occurring treatment since 2007. Morgan has worked in community mental health as well as substance inpatient and outpatient settings. Morgan has worked extensively with clients individually, with their families and in group settings. Morgan incorporates CBT, DBT, and Narrative Therapy to assist clients in identifying core issues and to work towards self-actualization. Morgan focuses on listening to a client's unique perspective and utilize their internal strengths while helping them learn healthy coping skills to manage stress in their lives. Morgan believes in using honesty and humor as tools to develop a compassionate therapeutic relationship that is client-centered.
Nick has worked in the addiction field for 3 years and has transitioned into the 12 step Recovery Instructor role within the last year. He has a passion for 12 step teachings and strives to help our patients to take the 12 steps out of their package and into their daily lives. Peter Barbuto is Vice President of Business Development at Recovery Centers of America. Since joining RCA in March 2017, Mr. Barbuto has worked to fulfill his mission of community advocacy and to serve as a resource for anyone seeking help for addiction.

Peter Krespan has been working in the substance abuse field since 2017, and active in the recovery community since 2016. Bobby Bunyon is CEO of Recovery Centers of America at Bracebridge Hall in Earlville, Maryland. For over a decade, Bobby has been an influential leader within the addiction treatment field. Before assuming his current role, he served as Recovery Centers of America's Corporate Director of Clinical Operations for over three years. Prior to RCA, he worked at Retreat Behavioral Health, a provider of substance use disorder and mental health services in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Bobby received his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Psychology from the University of Phoenix.
Robin graduated from the University of Massachusetts Amherst with a Bachelor's degree in psychology. Robin started as a counselor at an MAT program in Neptune NJ. He worked doing therapy and intakes for over 11 years in NJ before deciding to move to PA. Robin spent some time working in Philadelphia before finding a home at Delaware County Healthcare Clinic. Robin is relaxed, empathetic, and understanding, with a focus on active and reflective listening to work together to help others discover their potential.
Rochelle Brown, M.A., CAADC, primary therapist of outpatient services at RCA in Malvern. Rochelle began to build her experience, working as an intern at Eagleville Hospital while she was pursuing a baccalaureate degree at Valley Forge Christian College in 2002. Rochelle built from that experience and plunged into the field wanting to learn different modalities and key positions that enhance the continuum care. As a result of her enthusiasm, Rochelle is now a well-rounded clinician that has worked with diverse populations. Rochelle has found satisfaction serving as a group therapist for inpatient and outpatient, utilization reviewer, clinical assessor, case manager and a clinical supervisor.

Sarah E. Manley, LPC, MA, ATR-BC is a primary therapist in the outpatient department for eating disorders at Recovery Centers of America. Sarah completed her graduate studies in Creative Arts in Therapy at Drexel University and is a Board-Certified Art Therapist. Sarah is also working towards licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor. Sarah has experience treating individuals across the continuum of care. She has focused skills in treating individuals struggling with eating disorders, addiction, and general mental health concerns. She works to support these individuals in their journey of recovery through a patient- centered and trauma informed approach.
Sarah has presented at several conferences linking the efficacy of Art Therapy in treating addiction, building resiliency and mindfulness in women diagnosed with BPD, and as an auxiliary therapy in DBT skill building.
Sarah has spent her 17-year career as a registered nurse in a range of positions such as staff nurse, unit manager, administrative director of nursing and director of nursing within various medical settings including hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, long term care homes and a drug and alcohol center. Trish specializes in ADHD, opioid use in young adults, trauma-informed care, developmental trauma, trauma and substance use disorders, trauma and the family system, family engagement, and substance use for today's teens. Trish holds her MFT from Drexel University and is licensed and certified in the state of PA.
Trish Caldwell, MFT, LPC, CCDP-D, CAADC, CCTP is a licensed clinician, marriage, and family therapist and is certified in both co-occurring disorders and substance use.
Trish has been a therapist for over 25 years and has worked extensively with families, adults, and adolescents with co-occurring behavioral health and substance use disorders in various settings including outpatient, residential, schools, and community agencies. She is trained in DBT and is a Certified Trauma Professional and a Certified Mentor Trainer of Trauma. Additionally, Trish created the first Young Offenders Treatment Program in Delaware County, serving first-time offenders with Drug charges.

Vanessa Esgro, LPC is a primary outpatient therapist at Recovery Centers of America Devon who specializes in substance use and mental health concerns. Vanessa graduated from Immaculata University in Malvern, PA where she received her master's degree in psychology along with a certificate in addiction studies. Vanessa has extensive experience working with the co-occurring population in both nonprofit and for profit locations. Vanessa incorporates many treatment modalities specifically CBT and person-centered approaches.

Vince joined RCA back in 2018 as a Recovery Instructor and is loved by our patients and his colleagues for his passion and dedication to helping others achieve and maintaining recovery. Prior to working at RCA he was a peer support specialist at a local county health department. Vince also enjoys playing sports and coaching youth sports in the area. He also fishes, hikes, loves to travels and always aims to inspire others to reach their fullest potential.
Wendy is a Family Specialist in the inpatient and digital mental health departments at Recovery Centers of America. She earned her Master's degree at Drexel University in Family Therapy with an additional certificate from the Opioid Workforce Expansion Program, Interdisciplinary training initiative. This training helped prepare Wendy to engage with families impacted by opioid and other substance use disorders in a therapeutic context. During her schooling, she completed her Master's level internships in School Based Mental Health/Family Therapy and Family Therapy in inpatient substance use settings.
William Cooke, MD, FAAFP, FASAM, AAHIVS, is a fellow of the American Academy of Family Medicine and the American Society of Addiction Medicine, specializing in family medicine, addiction medicine, and HIV medicine. His work has been covered by CBS, NBC, PBS, the BBC, USA Today, the New York Times, NPR, and others. In 2019, he was named National Physician of the Year by the American Academy of Family Physicians and joined the ranks of two US surgeons general and a former secretary of the US Department of Health and Human Services by receiving the Ryan White Distinguished Leadership Award. He was also the first physician in the nation to be awarded the Pillar of Excellence by Addiction Policy Forum.
