My mentor shared these words of advice with me one of the first times I experienced a less-than-satisfied client. The retail store owner did not like the design concept I developed and grew more frustrated when I tried to convince him my way was the right solution. I quickly learned there is no "right" design solution, only the best one for the client. When I returned with three new ideas, the client was able to choose the one best suited to his needs. I had regained his trust and we were back on track... I genuinely love design thinking.
