ROCKY MOUNTAIN TREES AND LANDSCAPING - Key Persons

Hailee Stanley

Batman has Alfred. Alfred serves as Bruce Wayne's tireless valet, assistant, butler, confidant, best friend, and surrogate father figure. Alfred runs the day-to-day operations of Wayne Manor and maintains much of the equipment of the Batcave beneath it. He's got friends in low and high places. Alfred provides much needed comic relief and is always at the ready for when the Bat Phone rings to assist Batman with whatever he may need.

Mark Lee

Growing up in the Midwest Mark found a great appreciation for our environment. After bouncing around he settled in Kansas City where he became an ISA Certified Arborist and started honing his skills as a municipal arborist and horticulturalist. He was the City Forester and Horticulturalist for the City of Emporia Kansas for 3 years before returning to the Gunnison Valley. Mark joined Rocky Mountain Trees in the spring of 2019 and is our knowledgeable Maintenance Department Manager. Mark is also a self-taught welder and sculptor whose beautiful art is on display and for sale in our garden center. Mark looks forward to serving and educating our clients in this amazing valley we call home for years to come.

I grew up in a small rural town in Wisconsin and attended the University of Wisconsin in Madison. In 1992, I received a BS in Landscape Architecture from the University of Wisconsin. From there I moved to Crested Butte following my dreams of becoming a ski bum. I started working for Rocky Mountain Trees in the summer of 1990, and after graduation, I moved to Crested Butte permanently. In 1996 my wife Nel and I became owners of the company and have run it ever since. Since moving here, I have achieved certifications in the Colorado Certified Nursery Professional, Certified Landscape Technician, and Landscape Irrigation Auditor. I also serve on the Board of Riverland Industrial Park, as well as the Design Review Committee for Skyland Residential Community in Crested Butte. I also enjoy a multitude of outdoor activities including mountain biking, skiing (many kinds), hockey, hiking, hunting, fishing, and spending time with my wife Nel, and my two boys Dylan and Cameron.
