Welcome to the Rubtsov Group. We are a Physical Chemistry research group in Tulane University, New Orleans. Our interests including developing novel methods for measuring 3D structures of molecules and applying these new structural methods and target the mechanisms of protein biological functioning... We are a Physical Chemistry research group developing novel methods for measuring 3D structures of molecules in solution at physiological temperatures. We are also interested in applying these new structural methods and target the mechanisms of protein and enzyme biological functioning. Three-dimensional structure arrangement and dynamics of structural fluctuations play key roles in enzymes functioning. Nonlinear femtosecond spectroscopy methods, such as two-dimensional IR spectroscopy, permits measuring quick snapshots of the structural distribution of molecules in solution.
