ABBI DEFORD

Abbi is the primary contact for HAAPI administration and clinic and provider relationships. As Family and Community Liaison, she provides parents and pediatric providers with support and information to help them navigate the world of hearing loss. Abbi loves all things Disney and spending time with her husband and son.

ASHLEY HAMMER

Ashley is from Central Indiana and is the bubbly and smiling new face at the front desk, ready to check in children for appointments, welcome new patients to Hear Indiana, and answer your questions about the many services we offer. Brianna Rider

Job Titles:
  • Clinical Support Specialist
Brianna grew up in northeast Indiana and earned her Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders with a focus on Linguistics. She loves watching children develop their language and confidence after being fit with hearing aids. Brianna's role is to assist the audiologists providing care to patients and their families. Brianna enjoys DIY projects, trying new restaurants with friends, and solving Rubik's cubes (in under one minute!).

Dana Feiner

Job Titles:
  • Teacher of the Deaf
Dana earned her degree in Deaf Education from Michigan State University and has been living in Indianapolis for the past 10 years. She provides services as a Teacher of the Deaf for Early Intervention/First Steps, School Service and Teletherapy. She believes in empowering parents to be their child's best advocates and loves seeing the progress a child can make over time with the support of their village. Outside of work, Dana enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 rescue dogs, doing sprint triathlons and exploring restaurants with friends downtown.

ELLYN MCCALL

Ellyn provides hands-on, highly effective therapy and is licensed in special education, deaf education, and reading intervention. She loves working with children and watching them gain confidence in their abilities as they grow over time. As the mother of a profoundly deaf child, she understands firsthand the journey every family at Hear Indiana faces. Outside the office, Ellyn enjoys being with her family, reading, and hanging out in her hometown, Noblesville.

Gabriella Skorupski

Doctor Gabriella Skorupski grew up in Cleveland Ohio and earned her Doctorate of Audiology from Ohio University in Athens, OH. She believes it is important for both parents and kids to understand their hearing loss. This gives them the ability to be confident in teaching others about hearing loss and advocating for themselves alongside their parents as they grow. Gabriella enjoys volleyball, soccer, scrapbooking and going on hikes with her dog, Louie.

KALEIGH CALISTO

Kaleigh provides one-on-one therapy to infants and children through fun learning games and activities. She loves playing a small part in each child's journey to discover they have endless potential despite their diagnosis. She also appreciates the opportunity to build rapport with each family. When she's not helping patients, Kaleigh enjoys exploring Indy parks and attractions with her young daughter.

KAYCIE KING

Kaycie has a passion for serving children with hearing loss by serving as a clinician, resource and advocate for the whole child and family system. This includes assisting families and clients in understanding and fully accessing all options available to them within the school and wider community environments in which our clients participate. She has evaluated and served children from birth through high school with a wide range of impairments that can co-occur with hearing loss, including children with multiple exceptionalities. Her commitment to serving children with hearing loss started during her time working with a student cochlear implant team during graduate school and only strengthened when her amazing oldest nephew was born with conductive hearing loss due to aural atresia. Outside of her time at Hear Indiana, Kaycie loves being with her 4 children and extended family, including her many nieces and nephews. Most of the time they are participating in or cheering each other on in some type of sport, whether organized or a family pick-up game. During the short off-seasons, she enjoys exploring new places around Indy, being outside, hiking, cooking and attempting to keep her many house plants alive.

KELLY HULTMAN

In addition to providing one-on-one therapy to infants and children, Kelly is passionate about educating, supporting and advocating for children and families with hearing loss. She's a Central Indiana native, whose passion for working with children who are deaf or hard of hearing began when her youngest son was born with a sensorineural hearing loss. Outside of work, Kelly enjoys spending time with her husband and three boys, riding bikes and playing sports.

Doctor Lauren Gowdy grew up in northern Indiana, earning a doctorate of audiology from Indiana University. She's passionate about child development and understands the crucial role hearing plays in each child's life and future. She thrives on empowering parents to advocate for their child's hearing. Lauren enjoys hiking, cycling, traveling, spending time with family, and cheering on the Hoosiers.

MADISON WILLIAMS

Madison grew up in East Central Indiana and earned her Bachelor's degree in Family and Child Studies with a concentration in Child life and Child Development from Ball State University. Madison was a camper at Hear Indiana Listening and Spoken language camp for 8 years and has volunteered at the camp for 4 years! Madison also has hearing aids! She is passionate about advocating for children and watching them grow in their confidence with having hearing loss. Madison will be assisting the audiologist in providing care to patients and their families. When not busy at Hear Indiana, she enjoys spending time with her family, being outside and traveling.
