RWOT LAKICA WOMEN GROUP

Rwot Lakica Women Group (RLWG) is a community Based Organisation (CBO) which was formed in May 2013 in Siriba, Bweyale, Kiryandongo District by three bold formerly abducted women: Adong Jane Opio, Abur Monica, and Laker Rosalyn Agnes. They were convinced that women's human rights were essential to social, economic, and political change in the community, for the benefit of us all. Frustrated by a lack of interest in funding women's human rights, they founded an organization. They knew that by trusting their grantee partners to tackle the problems they were uniquely qualified to solve and permanent change would happen.
