Christie Santo is the co-author of Ravens In The Rain: A Noir Love Story where BookLife hailed it as great for James M. Cain's The Postman Always Rings Twice fans. Receiving her B.A. in creative writing from California State University Long Beach, Christie has published short stories, poetry and has freelanced as a ghostwriter for novels. Over a decade of independent filmmaking experience and overseeing distribution for Santo Films, she has edited a feature film, three documentaries, two music videos, and a comedy special (for Netflix).
Jeff Santo has over 25 years of independent filmmaking experience in all aspects of the business and is a member of the WGA and DGA. He recently co-authored a novel with his wife and writing parter, Christie Santo, titled Ravens In The Rain: A Noir Love Story, available on Amazon. He also adapted the best-selling book Hell's Angel: The Life and Times of Sonny Barger and the Hell's Angels Motorcycle Club for Fox2000. Jeff directed, produced, and wrote the critically acclaimed documentary about his father, This Old Cub (Bill Murray, Dennis Franz, Gary Sinise and narrated by Joe Mantegna), ranking #4 on Indiewire per-screen gross and selling over 75,000 DVDs independently. He duplicated his distribution model on his cult classic indie feature, Dead In 5 Heartbeats, ranking #5 on Indiewire per-screen gross and selling over 40,000 DVDs worldwide, securing VOD deals in over 70 countries. Also directed and produced a comedy special for Netflix. His other film credits (producing, writing, directing) include feature films Liar's Poker (Richard Tyson, Pamela Gidley, Flea) and Jake's Corner (Diane Ladd, Danny Trejo, Tony Longo) and the documentary Off The Boulevard (Eddie Vedder, Peter Fonda, Dan Haggerty).
