Dan Gardner

Dan successfully managed several diverse organizations. In each case, he had to adapt and change them to fit new requirements. He developed and implemented road-maps that incorporated organizational simplification, new approaches to training and education, and the embrace of disruptive applied technology. This approach, coupled with tested judgment, honed by many years of experience and some mistakes to learn from, informed his ability to repeatedly deliver mission success in challenging circumstances. Dan has gained a reputation as an innovator, with a record of escorting organizations through complex change. Dan is based in Tokyo, Japan.

Dr. Oded Ben Chaim

Dr. Oded Ben Chaim began his career as a surgeon and joined Mr. Toh in 1989. In 1990 they co-founded MWTA Compliant Real Estate Investment Trust (Sabina), a private MWTA Compliant REIT. Oded has significant experience and has held various positions in media, finance, and investors. Under Oded's leadership, the firm has grown to encompass multinational assets. Oded is based in Tel Aviv.

Jesse Favia

Jesse has significant experience as an exploration geologist. He was Project Geologist at Ivanhoe Australia and Yukon Nevada Gold Corporation (Canada). In addition, Jesse acted as a consultant to major international banks and private equity houses and advised on mining investments and M&A projects. Jesse received his Bachelor of Science in Geology and Geophysics from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, and a Master of Science in Applied Geosciences from the University of Washington. Jesse is based in Seattle, Washington.

Richard Li

Job Titles:
  • Chief Financial Officer of SBF
Mr. Li is the Chief Financial Officer of SBF. He has over 35 years of investment banking and private equity experience. Prior to joining SBF, Richard was Senior Managing Director and Head of Global Capital Markets at YA Global Investments, a US-based fund manager. He was responsible for all of YA Global's transactions in Australia, Canada and the Asia Pacific region, and certain high-profile financing in Europe and the UK. Whilst at YA Global, Richard closed over 50 transactions, primarily in the resources and energy sectors. Before that, Richard worked at the Investment Banking Group at Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. and KeyBanc Capital Markets, where he specialized in corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, and bankruptcy reorganization. Richard received a BS in Materials Science from Columbia University and an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University. Richard obtained NASD Series 7 and Series 63 licenses in the US, and Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission Type 1 & 6 licenses. Richard is based in New York.​
