Many endeavors start as a dream. And so it was for ElectroPhonic's founder Joe Floyd, whom one night had a vivid dream in which he was playing an electric guitar with a fantastic soaring sound coming from the guitar itself with no amp or effects pedals. This "dream guitar" had the lush harmonics and singing tone of an electric guitar, but with all the freedom of an acoustic guitar... The ElectroPhonic™ guitar is an evolution of the art and science, and is destined to find its place alongside traditional electric and acoustic guitars. The hardwood body of an EP guitar (its "tone cabinet,") combines sonic qualities and elements of both electric and acoustic guitars... ElectroPhonic Innovations' Guitars are designed and built in Inglewood California, USA. We use modern automated machining and old world hand craftsmanship to create a precision instrument that is also an inspiring work of art.
