THE SHARP IMPRESSIONS PROJECT

The Sharp Impressions Project is a community organization that is focused on helping to raise mental health awareness and advocate suicide prevention by providing resources and education to end the stigma of mental illness. We have always been geared towards helping people by "making a sharp impression". Whether through an act of kindness, supporting others, or sharing our stories... Although the idea to help those suffering from depression existed since late 2003, The Sharp Impressions Project was launched on July 3, 2013 with the mission to help teens who self harm and had suicidal thoughts/tendencies. Months later, The Si Project shifted focus and added helping those with mental health issues to its mission. It was long known how music affects individuals emotionally and relates lyrics to their personal stories.
