STARKS ASSOCIATES

Starks Associates was founded in 1957 by Fred Starks. Fred was a passionate chemist, United States Naval Officer Lieutenant JG, and graduate of University of Illinois, who worked as a Principal Investigator at DuPont (EI Du Pont de Nemours and Co) prior to starting Starks Associates. In 1992, he passed the keys to his son David Starks. David earned his PhD from University of California - Berkeley and started working at Starks Associates shortly thereafter. Now under the leadership of Mark Middleton, Starks Associates is continuing our mission in chemical research, development and synthesis in working on HIV treatment, anticancer agents, and synthesis of therapeutic agents for treatment of infectious disease... We work to the highest standards and ethics in our research.
