Karlene is a distinguished graduate of the University of the West Indies. She was admitted to the Jamaican Bar in 2014 and manages and operates the firm's Mandeville Branch office.
Prior to the partnership of Smith Robinson-Miller, Karlene managed a branch of an established law firm in Jamaica. From this experience, Karlene gained experience in areas such as employment law, civil litigation, family law, property law and personal injury.
Karlene also served as Manager for a private land management company whose main objective was handling matters relating to land administration and title applications. This experience honed her skills in handling property matters.
Throughout Karlene's educational path she has held executive positions on various student bodies and has always been an active participant in many charitable organizations and entities. She is currently a director of two companies and is a member of the Kiwanis Club of Mandeville.
