STEWARDS CLUB

We are folks who love dogs and also love helping the local kennel clubs that present dog shows by stewarding at those shows. A dog show steward is the clerk of the show ring, whether at a conformation show or a performance event. We help the show run smoothly by assisting the ring judge and the exhibitors at that ring... We provide training to be a steward, with the prospective ring steward observing an experienced steward, then performing the duties of steward under supervision until the new ring steward can function on his or her own... Dog Show Stewards are necessary for dog shows. We are a group of folks who love dogs and helping out at dog shows, acting as the secretary or assistant for the judge at each ring.
