STAND-UP MOBILE

Stand-Up Mobile is a non-profit, non-partisan organization formed in January 2021, resulting from conversations between friends Amelia Bacon and Beverly Cooper after witnessing reports on January 6, 2021 at the U.S. Capitol. Their discussions led to Advocacy- the need to increase voter turnout and representation by educating, informing, and empowering the community on the importance of voting and why they should vote. Voting starts on a local level to address issues regarding housing, employment, health, and safety... Stand-Up Mobile: A Blueprint for US is nonprofit voter education and advocacy organization committed to bringing the power of the black vote to elections at all levels. We believe that it is important that all people have their voices heard, especially those that are too often excluded from the political, economic, and social institutions that shape their lives.
