STURLUREYKIR HORSE

Sturlureykir is a family run farm and has been in the same family for over 150 years. Today Sturlureykir is run by Hrafnhildur Guðmundsdóttir, Jóhannes Kristleifsson and their family. At Sturlureykir there was built the first central heating system based on natural hot water in Europe... Sturlureykir horse farm is a local horse breeding farm with about 60 horses. Every year there are 3 to 5 foals born. We try to breed good breeding horses, riding horses and competition horses... We have offered riding tours for more than 30 years. The reason is simple, we love our work, our horses and to give personal service.
