Andy A. Turnbull is the CEO of the Nunacor Development Corporation, the business development entity of the NunatuKavut Community Council, located in Happy Valley-Goose Bay, NL. NunatuKavut represents the Southern Inuit people of Labrador, primarily residing in central and southern Labrador. In this role he leads a group of wholly-owned companies as well as strategic partnerships in a wide range of sectors, such as hospitality, real estate, fisheries, mining services, and safety training. Andy serves as the CEO for each individual subsidiary company and is involved in the daily operations and strategic planning for these five entities. Andy initially started work with Nunacor in 2007 as a business development officer, and then returned as the General Manager in 2012. Andy moved into the role of CEO in 2015 and have lead the group of companies through exponential growth over the past several years. Andy is a strong advocate for Indigenous participation in business in Labrador, actively establishing partnerships to create opportunities for members of the Indigenous community. Andy has successfully negotiated joint venture arrangements with six industry-leading companies for work on projects in Labrador. These joint ventures are primarily focused on servicing the mining industry and industrial projects happening in Labrador. Andy has also been involved in negotiating Community Cooperation Agreements with the mining industry and energy sector on behalf of NunatuKavut. Andy has been served on the LNCC Board since 2014 as Director, 2 nd Vice Chair, and was recently appointed as Chair at the 2020 Annual General Meeting. Andy was named one of the Top 50 CEOs by Atlantic Business Magazine in 2017-2019.

Darian was born in Goose Bay and has most recently resided in St. John's while attending university. Darian has a diploma in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Memorial University. She has previously worked in customer service roles with the Bank of Montreal, and at the YMCA-NL in St. John's in an accounts and membership services role. She is the current Manager of Finance & Administration with the LNCC. Darian has two younger brothers and enjoys traveling, spending time with friends and family, fitness, as well as other outdoor activities such as snowshoeing and spending time at the cabin.

Ernie McLean is a former Member of the House of Assembly for Lake Melville District, and Minister of Labrador and Aboriginal Affairs who currently resides in North West River. He is President of the Labrador Heritage Society, served two terms as Mayor of North West River and is a Director of the Labrador North Chamber of Commerce and the Goose Bay Airport Corporation.

Julianne moved to Happy Valley-Goose Bay, Labrador, in April 2010 after accepting the position of Logistics Coordinator with the LNCC. She remained with the LNCC for six years in roles relating to event management, public relations, and marketing. Julianne worked for the Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay as the Director of Economic Development and has also worked in various capacities with the governments of Alberta and Nova Scotia. In July 2019, Julianne accepted the position of Chief Executive Officer with the LNCC. Julianne brings significant experience to the organization relating to economic development, event management, communications, public relations, marketing, tourism, and member relations. She holds degrees in sociology and public relations, and a Masters degree in public relations from Mount Saint Vincent University in Halifax, N.S. She currently sits as a Director on the Grenfell Foundation's East Chapter, the YMCA Newfoundland and Labrador Board of Directors, and the Central Labrador YMCA's Campaign Cabinet Committee. She is also a member of the Atlantic Chamber's Newfoundland and Labrador Provincial Advisory Committee, the Northern and Rural Affairs Committee of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce, and an Arctic Inspiration Prize (AIP) Ambassador. She is also an active member of the Economic Developers Association of Newfoundland and Labrador. In 2021 and 2022, Julianne was nominated for the RBC Canadian Women Entrepreneur Awards for the Social Impact (Regional) Category. Julianne is also the President of the local Trappers' Running Club and an avid community volunteer. Julianne is a strong advocate for economic and community development in Labrador. She enjoys canoeing, camping and hunting in the great outdoors, as well as running and cycling. She currently resides in Happy Valley-Goose Bay with her husband, Chris, and her sons, Maxwell and Asher.

Marilyn has a proven reputation for developing solid relationships in complex situations with people who matter: in mine related projects including start-up plans for Vale's Long Harbour Processing Plant to owner interests in re-opening Wabush mine; in aboriginal relations for Labrador Inuit business interests and Qalipu Mi'kmaq member rights; and business leadership in guiding firms, entrepreneurs and non-profit organizations through awareness campaigns, issue management and growth. Her passion for promoting the province is grounded in a deep connection and commitment to Labrador since 1980. Marilyn has been steering her own business consulting and communications practise since 2009, after thirteen years in agency work in management and as a partner, and fourteen years with Government NL. Building on her MUN Bachelor of Commerce ('82) and MBA work, along with certifications in public participation, partnership brokering, and management consulting, she is a strategic, results-focused, professional team player.

Mary Janet Hill is a member and beneficiary of the Innu Nation of Labrador. She completed her secondary education at Peenamin McKenzie School in Sheshatshiu, Labrador and graduated from Trent University in 2013 with a degree in Indigenous Studies. Following her graduation, Mary Janet returned to her home community to work as a Community Health Planner for the Sheshatshiu Innu First Nation and later accepted a position as Health Navigator for the Innu Round Table. Both positions involved engaging community members and health practitioners in dialogue on Innu health and processes to align health services. She was also employed as an Assistant to the Chief of Sheshatshiu Innu First Nation for 2 years. She is also continuing her formal education and enrolled in the Indigenous Policy and Administration Graduate Diploma Program at Carleton University. Mary Janet is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Innu Development Limited Partnership (IDLP) since 2017.

Born and raised in Happy Valley-Goose Bay, Pamela is a Registered Massage Therapist with much experience and many happy clients! In March 2020, Pamela made the decision to start her own business, Rejuvenate Massage Therapy, and open her own clinic in Happy Valley-Goose Bay. Her services remain in very high demand.

Ms. Downer has lived in Labrador for more than 30 years and is a strong advocate for the development of rural, Northern and coastal communities. She has worked as part of a team throughout Labrador to build local knowledge, skills and effective tools to support the way people live, work and do business in Northern communities and has been actively involved in a wide range of community, regional and international organizations. She currently works with Memorial University's Office of Public Engagement and Labrador Institute as the Northern Liaison and also serves as the Vice President of Finance, Development and Engagement for the University of the Arctic.

Sterling Peyton was born 30 September, 1944 in Come-By-Chance, NL His first exposure to working at the Federal government level involved more than nine years working with the United States Air Force doing civil engineering and accounting & finance as the Real Property and Cost Accounting Officer. From there, he worked with the Canadian federal government for more than 30 years, holding positions with Transport Canada, Manpower and Immigration, Employment and Immigration, Regional Industrial Expansion, and the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency (ACOA). In 2003 he retired from the Federal Government to accept an appointment as the Provincial Government's Deputy Minister for the Department of Labrador and Aboriginal Affairs. Finally, in 2004, Mr. Peyton concluded his career in civil service and entered into private business with his wife in Happy-Valley Goose Bay. This move led him to become active in the local business association and he was elected president of the Labrador North Chamber of Commerce from 2005-2007. He was reelected to the position in 2009. In recognition of his contributions to the way of life in Labrador, Mr. Peyton received the Queen Elizabeth the Second's Golden Jubilee Medal in 2002. As well, in January 2009 he was appointed as the first Honorary Colonel for Canadian Forces 5 Wing Goose Bay, a position that he still holds.
