SURFACE ART

From an early age, I learned how to work with the different aspects of industrial equipment around the family business, with my first debut being on the bandsaw. My fascination for building and my curiosity for how things work inspired me to learn the rest of the tools in the shop. This is where the foundation of working with my hands was born... Like most, I chose other avenues to pursue in life, however I found myself consistently drawn to creating with my hands along the way. I moved to the Outer Banks in 2005, building custom sport fishing yachts for Bayliss Boat Works. There I honed my skills further in all aspects of the trade, mastering the equipment and further understanding the material. This exposure opened me up to expert level accuracy and design aesthetics.
