I began my time in the bike industry when I joined Islabikes in 2015. I originally worked doing bicycle assembly/PDI and after a year managed to land a place in the Imagine Project team there. I spent a year learning to TIG before making my first bike, and then went on to making both Imagine Project bikes and any custom bikes ridden by employees. When the project came to a close, I realised that establishing my own brand was what I wanted to do. Ever since I made my first custom bike for myself, I realised there was no turning back to a 'standard' bike. For me cycling is made even better once you know that the bike you are riding has been designed around you.
