PARK THEATER COMPANY

The Park Theater Company was formed in 2007 with the help of the Friends of the Arts to meet the City's challenge of providing high-caliber theatrical/artistic performances for our residents. The Park Theater Company is truly dedicated to developing performances that are "In The Park, For The Park & By The Park". With the grant from St. Louis Park's Friends of the Arts, the founding members of The Park Theater Company worked with consultants to draft a strategic plan for a community theater organization. The strategic plan provided an overview of key goals and planning needed to establish, develop, and maintain an active and growing community theater group in St. Louis Park. A small but energetic core membership was formed and actively promoted cast and crew tryouts at local community events. Most recently, a board of directors and an advisory board have been established to coordinate and oversee the growth of the organization and the development of future productions.
