Burke grew up in a small town in Alabama and has lived in Atlanta since 2012. Post-college, Burke began his career in sales. 7 years later, he made the decision to pursue his masters in counseling. This decision was influenced by his and his own family's mental/emotional health journey. Burke's past work experience in the counseling field includes the homeless non-profit sector and behavioral/mental health.

Carlyn Clawson

Carlyn grew up in Thomasville, GA and moved to Atlanta in 2006. She has gained extensive experience in the counseling field by working with a variety of individuals and issues. Her clinical experience includes counseling at a therapeutic program for adolescent victims of sexual exploitation and serving as the director of a counseling ministry at her church, which provided professional counseling and psychoeducational classes to the local community. Carlyn's gentle and compassionate approach encourages emotional safety and client-counselor collaboration. She desires to walk with individuals on the path of healing and kindly draw out the strength and beauty that exists within. She enjoys spending time with her husband and their two daughters, as well as cooking and entertaining with friends.

Dori Whitworth

Dori Whitworth has a broad and diverse background in both the healthcare and mental health field. She began her early career as a speech and language pathologist. Later, she returned to graduate school to gain licensure as a professional counselor. At that time, Dori joined a large clinical group practice here in Atlanta where she worked for 13 years specializing in individual and family counseling. Dori also developed Whitworth & Associates, one of the first managed behavioral health companies in the Southeast. She worked with client companies such as Shaw Industries, Mohawk Carpets and IBEW 613 to assist management in delivering quality mental health care to their employee population. Several years later Dori joined Novadaq and then LifeCell corporations, managing medical device sales in the Southeast region of the US. Being a science geek, she thoroughly enjoyed spending 9 years in the OR with talented medical professionals assisting patients overcoming serious operable diseases. Upon leaving the medical sales field, she transitioned to the Surgical Oncology department at Emory, where she worked with physicians to coordinate care for patients with severe medical illnesses. At that time, Dori realized she missed the personal, one on one clinical interaction with her clients. She decided to join LifeGate Counseling Group and has worked here for over five years.

Katie Gentry

Katie grew up in the suburbs of Atlanta and moved to the city after finishing college. Having studied business at the University of Georgia, she began her career as a campus recruiter at a public accounting firm. It was quickly apparent that she enjoyed the relational aspect of recruiting far more than filling her hiring goals. As a result, she decided to pursue a masters in counseling. Katie has since worked in residential treatment as well as intensive outpatient addiction therapy. Katie seeks to provide a safe and welcoming environment for clients to pursue insight, hope and healing as they engage in introspection. She approaches counseling holistically and believes in using her authenticity and empathy to foster the client-counselor relationship. She recognizes that making the choice to attend counseling is not an easy one and would be honored to offer you care.

Randy Eberhard

Randy has worked with countless adults, adolescents and their families with an emphasis on career coaching, addiction and recovery. He has been a featured speaker to a variety of organizations, schools, and churches throughout the Atlanta area. Randy received training through various organizations including No Longer Bound in Cumming, Georgia, The Waypoint Center in Dahlonega, Georgia and the SHERPA Coaching Institute at the University of Georgia. In his career coaching, Randy focuses on personal development through identifying individual strengths and working to overcome personal weaknesses. In his recovery work, he focuses on conflict resolution, relapse prevention, as well as general issues involving substance abuse and addiction to encourage and inspire his clients in their recovery. He also walks with families as they face conflict and grief.
