Founder Laura Steele started the Small Business Awards aged just 21, after seeing a huge gap in the market to reward and inspire other SMALL business owners. She felt lost when entering her business into awards which were not geared towards small business and instead favoring larger business who brought large sponsorships of the awards. She anted small business to feel like a BIG deal for the incredible work they do and unique service they offer.
