We're glad to have you on board The Ship, your West Bottoms port of call since 2014. We serve up the finest cocktails, refreshments, lunch, dinner, and local live music in our original restored 1935 vintage barroom and our spacious "All Else The Sea" expansion... Originally located at 411 East 10th Street in between Oak and Locust in downtown Kansas City, The Ship was a grand lounge opened shortly after the repeal of Prohibition in 1935, reportedly opened by Ethel Mae Wright, companion to a gentleman of means and questionable repute.
