In Kiswahili, Tumaini is the word for "hope". That is why we at Tumaini Smart Academy want to continue to serve as a source of hope to as many children as possible. We want to give every child the platform, tools, and opportunity to aspire and reach for success. But we cannot do it alone. Sadly, we are not strong enough. This is why we need your help... When 6-year-old Ayubu receives new writing aids like pencils, pens, drawing books, and other classroom resources, although he might be too young to understand how they came about, he will have a smile on his face, gratitude in his heart, and a better chance of success. Getting quality classroom resources has been a challenge in Tumaini Smart Academy for a long time. Whenever we run out of funding and are unable to provide these learning tools for the pupils, it is usually an unpleasant situation.
