Ubutyebi Ebantwini NPO was established in the year 2020 solely for accelerating township economic development and its sustainability... We believe our government (municipalities), scholars, privately/state owned companies, civic organization, NGOs/NPOs, and other stakeholders have done a lot to improve the townships' economy. The work done by the stakeholders is however very far from sufficient considering the 26 years new dispensation. The townships are still experiencing major economic woes like high unemployment, low levels of Safety, Health and Environment (SHE), low levels of formal business ownership, poor intra-structure and more. Often there are poor service delivery protests, which are 90% violent. It is like our government is heaving very difficult in developing the townships due to many challenges like uncontrollable urbanization/internal immigration into the townships, mismanagement of municipality funds, lack of capacity within municipalities, etc... live below the..
