Venture Forthe is a home health care company, that provides personal care aides for consumers who need assistance with activities of daily living. A main focus of what we do is keeping people out of nursing homes, so they can continue to live at home. We directly employ about 1200 Personal Care Aides, who work... FI (Fiscal Intermediary): A health care company who is responsible for processing the Medicaid funded CDPAP wages. This company sets the hourly rate, takes care of scheduling, processes time sheets and communicates with consumers and personal assistants. Venture Forthe is a Lead FI. This means we provide all of these services to the PAs and consumers, but we also provide training and services to smaller Subcontractor FIs who provide the same services, but they have to go through us to get to the state... This change, in which Venture Forthe was granted Lead FI status, is new, and will go into effect in the next month or so. We want to set this site up to support our efforts.
