VY Architecture is a full-service architecture firm specializing in contemporary design and buildings meeting the Passive House energy-efficiency standard with offices in Salt Lake City, Utah and Boise, Idaho. We provide design, planning and architectural services for single-family residential, multi-family housing, commercial, and community projects... Our mission is to produce architecture that is both pragmatic and poetic: high-performance, sustainable buildings that are responsible to the community and the future. Our work varies from small scale renovations to larger, community and affordable housing projects. We strive to meet climate-specific Passive Building Standards on all of our projects, whether a new building or an existing retrofit. We engage in analysis, optimization and feedback to shape our designs. We believe buildings should be beautiful and positively impact the human experience from beginning to end.
