Voices for Labour (VFL) is a civil society organization founded in April 2020 by a group of passionate Labour activists and Lawyers. The organization was formally incorporated in Uganda as a company limited by guarantee and having no share capital (Not for profit)... VFL's mission is to defend and promote the social, economic, and Political rights of workers through accessible justice, strategic litigation, research, advocacy, campaigns, education and training among other methods... With the increasing impact of climate change on sustainable development and a call to promote green jobs, workers are key stakeholders in making this a reality. Whereas some workers feel that a transition to greener jobs will lead to many job losses, VFL seeks to reduce this fear by contributing to efforts that promote a just transition to green jobs.
