Chris is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment, with over 30 years' experience as an investment manager. Throughout his career he has looked after the interests of a wide range of clients, managing portfolios for individuals and their families, trusts and local charities. He also works closely with local solicitors, accountants and other professionals. Having formerly served with the Royal Air Force for eight years, flying Phantoms and Nimrods, Chris channelled the background of his Economics degree from Manchester University and his enthusiasm for the markets into his principal career. Cementing his commitment to Cornwall he went on to co-found and run an independent stockbroking firm for ten years, then joining a national firm in 2008, managing their Truro office for the next six years, before moving to Walker Crips in 2015.
Clive Duckitt - Chief Investment Officer
Clive has spent all his career working in the Birmingham stockbroking/investment management industry. He was instrumental in opening the Walker Crips office in Birmingham in 2013. Clive manages investment portfolios for a wide range of investors with whom he has built up long term client relationships helping them meet their financial objectives. He was attracted to Walker Crips by its tradition of building and maintaining close client relationships combined with the use of modern technology. This has been a particular advantage throughout the recent period of "working from home", and has enabled a normal level of service to be maintained.

Edward joined Walker Crips in 2013 and has over 30 years' experience in the Industry. He began his career in Liverpool before migrating to Inverness. For most of his career he has specialised in Discretionary Portfolio Management offering his services not only in Scotland but throughout the UK. Edward offers a highly personalised service to his clients.

Jane joined Walker Crips in 2018 as an Administrator. She has formerly worked for an economist, as a personal secretary at an accounting firm in Inverness, a bankruptcy assistant and latterly at Strutt & Parker. Jane enjoys working at Walker Crips where she supports the Investment Directors and excels in providing a friendly and efficient service to our clients.
Jonathan has worked within the investment management sector for over 35 years, having started as a junior dealer on the Birmingham Stock Exchange trading floor. Now in his eighth year with Walker Crips Investment Management, Jonathan focuses upon clients seeking managed or advisory dealing portfolio services. Jonathan`s clients include charities, and Family Trusts in addition to private individuals, in which many have long standing relationships going back over many years.

Jonathan is a Chartered Member of the Institute for Securities and Investment. Having spent twelve years working in accountancy practice, he decided to have a change of direction into the investment industry, joining Chris when he and his then business partner, Jeremy Sharp started their independent firm of Truro Stockbrokers in 1998. He has been a member of the team ever since, dealing with compliance matters, looking after the back office, IT, official reporting, execution only dealing, and general operational functions.
Kathy completed a degree in Applied Psychology and began working in stockbroking in 1998. She has worked at Walker Crips since 2013. Her current role entails deceased and bankrupt estate administration, providing investment valuations for probate and assisting executors with the sale or transfer of investments once probate has been granted.
Neal entered the stockbroking community in June 1985 and ultimately Walker Crips Birmingham office in November 2014. With its first-class portfolio management system, central Birmingham office location and genuine focus on the client's requirements Neal felt that Walker Crips culture, founded on traditional values, and investment approach, which is modern and meets the prevailing challenges of the changing economic environment, was a good home. Neal's willingness to travel and meet new and existing clients has enabled him to build a very personal and successful client base, with clients all over the UK. Neal is a Chartered Fellow of the CISI (Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment).

Sarah began her financial career at Walker Crips in 2010. Before progressing to Investment Manager, she fulfilled a central role within our Finance, Operations, Technology & Administration teams. She manages investment portfolios for private clients, trusts, companies and SIPPs. Her broad experience from both sides of the business means she can come up with solutions that add simplicity to the investment process. Sarah has achieved Chartered Financial Analyst status which is one of the most widely recognised investment designations in the world and is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment.

Simon joined Walker Crips Investment Management in September 2013 for a one-year apprentice programme in the back office. Upon completion he moved to the Northampton office to assist his father and also spends time in the Birmingham office, where he works alongside the Investment Management team managing & maintaining client portfolios. Simon's emphasis is on building long-term relationships with his clients, providing them with a trusted source of advice and investment solutions to help achieve their financial goals. Simon is a Chartered Member of the CISI (Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment).

Stephanie has over sixteen years of experience working in financial services covering various roles and joined Walker Crips in 2017, initially working in the pensions team and subsequently transferring into the Private Client Department. Previous to Walker Crips, Stephanie has worked for Aviva, Barclays, HSBC and St James' Place to build her knowledge in a variety of financial services fields. She has always had a keen interest in investment management and building relationships with clients and third parties alike.
Sue Grierson - Chief Investment Officer
Sue joined Walker Crips in April 2013. She began her career with a well known life company before taking time out to work in the Blood Transfusion Service and the education sector. Sue was then headhunted and invited to return to financial services where she re-found her roots and before long built up her own bank of clients. Although historically her background was in holistic wealth management, Sue now focuses solely on portfolio management, specialising in managing discretionary accounts for her clients. Sue offers a bespoke and personal service to her clients and her motto is "the clients come first".
Sue has worked within investment management for over 35 years and was among the first women to achieve membership of The London Stock Exchange, having gained the relevant qualifications, in 1985. Now a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment, Sue moved to the Birmingham office of Walker Crips Investment Management in 2014. Sue manages portfolios, on both a discretionary and an advisory basis, for private individuals, trusts and SIPPs, providing a service tailored to meet her clients' specific requirements, having built up client relationships over many years.
Tom joined Walker Crips in January 2018 following the completion of a degree in Computing. Based in the Birmingham office, he assists the team in maintaining client relationships. Coming from a computing background has enabled Tom to create good relationships with clients who use our client portal to access their portfolios.
Tracey joined Walker Crips in August 2017 as an Administrator. She has several years' experience in financial services, having worked at St James's Place as a Senior Support Manager, and achieving CII Financial Planning Certificates 1,2 & 3 during her time in that role. On returning to her home city of Inverness, Tracey took two years out to complete a HND in Accounting, working in that profession, before returning to the financial services industry in her role at Walker Crips. Tracey enjoys meeting clients and providing a good, friendly service to them and the Investment Directors.

Wesley joined Walker Crips in 1997. He is Director of the Private Client Department and specialises in model and bespoke portfolio management. He manages portfolios on behalf of a wide range of clients including individuals, pensions, trusts and charities. Wesley works closely with colleagues across all Walker Crips' Offices. He is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment.
