I was born in Brazil and came to England in 1975. I wanted to learn English and return home to realise my dream of becoming a special educational needs teacher. But life had other plans for me. I fell in love, married an English man and we started a family. Whilst raising my children, I worked for many years at a global organisation in people-related roles. Upon being made redundant, I tried hard to deal with some conflicting, painful and personal issues, leading me to seek counselling for the first time. This was the beginning of a new and special chapter in my life... find my inner balance and peace, while also inspiring me to become a counsellor and psychotherapist and offer this gift to others...
