Ned Webster is a multi-disciplined, trusted advisor to executive management with deep experience across all HR functions, strategic business development, and labor relations that drive bottom-line improvements. Prior to founding WebsterHR, Ned held the position of Senior Vice President of Human Resources for Procaccianti Companies and TPG Hotels & Resorts, a top 5 national owner-operator of hotels & resorts representing every major brand focused on select service, lifestyle and upscale properties with 7 regional offices, 10,000 employees and more than $850 million in revenue. While with TPG he improved overall employee satisfaction from 79.5 to 82.1 and engagement for line staff from 88.2 to 97.4, managers from 91.0 to 97.7 and general managers from 87.2 to 96.7. The highest rated scores in company history. He doubled the company's GlassDoor online reputation, the largest year-over-year increase amongst TPG's major competitors. He guided the organization through implementation of the Affordable Care Act resulting in no increase in premiums nor decrease in employee coverage while achieving savings to the organization for three consecutive years. He successfully transitioned 35 hotels, 2 residential complexes and a parking division ranging in scope from acquisition, disposition, new construction, start-up and rebranding and he modernized and automated key HR information systems including applicant tracking, exit interviews, open enrollment and benefit vendor interfacing. Prior to joining TPG, Ned held the position of Vice President of Human Resources for Sandestin Investments, LLC, a leading developer and operator of resorts, hotels, and destination communities along Florida's Emerald Coast with 1,300 employees and more than $90 million in annual revenue. While with Sandestin he led the cultural transformation of the organization by growing employee satisfaction scores from 67% to 85% yielding the best results in company history and receiving "Best Place to Work on Florida's Emerald Coast" award recognition. He helped steer Sandestin through the Deep-Water Horizon Oil crisis assisting employees with the British Petroleum claim process which led to $500,000+ in employee payouts and several million dollars in compensation to the organization. He transitioned $90 million in company assets from Intrawest corporate ownership to sole proprietorship by defining and organizing divestiture processes to align resources in the successor company and he created incentive plans that enabled the company to exceed budgeted profit by 122% and payout more than $400,000 (100%) to bonus eligible employees. He sought out and implemented new HRIS systems including payroll, timekeeping, recruiting, and on-boarding, and a new, more functional company intranet and he enhanced employee insurance coverage and service while reducing benefit payroll contribution from 27% to 20.5% saving the organization $1.6 million. Ned's early career consisted of director level roles with the West Paces Hotel Group (Now Capella Hotel Group), an ultra-luxury hotel company created by legendary Hotelier Horst Schultz and 15 years with Omni Hotels & Resorts in both human resources and loss prevention. He led the property level human resource teams at the Daufuskie Island Resort & Breathe Spa (Daufuskie Island, SC), The Omni Shoreham Hotel (Washington, DC), The Omni William Penn Hotel (Pittsburgh, PA) and the Omni Jacksonville Hotel (Jacksonville, FL). Some key achievements include: Winner of Washingtonian Magazine's, "Best Places to Work" in Washington, D.C."; Improved labor relations by reducing grievances by more than 50% without the need for arbitration or legal representation through renegotiating/authoring several collective bargaining agreements; Savings of more than $500,000 year-over-year by reducing worker's compensation claims by 85% as a result of implementing creative programs that promoted employee health and wellness. Ned has been an active member of the National Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) since 1998 and has also been a member of several local chapters including The Pittsburgh Human Resources Association, SHRM Florida's Emerald Coast and The Human Resources Association of Palm Beach County.
