Wellington Regional Healthy Housing Group (WRHHG) is made up of central government departments, local councils, district health boards and Regional Public Health, as well as research, social outreach, health and community organisations. The Group was formalised in 2018 with the signing of an MoU and our first collective Strategy and Action Plan was agreed in September 2019. [Download these below]... Quality data is essential for well-informed strategies and interventions. WRHHG aims to increase access to existing research and we commission our own research to address gaps and identify solutions... We operate on a collective impact model of shared governance, strategic planning, community involvement and evaluation. We commit to uphold Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles with a view to reducing inequities and improving health outcomes for Māori, upholding the partnership relationship and working together in a spirit of collaboration and collective responsibility.
