Adam is an aggressive and diligent trial attorney who represents accident victims in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. The founder of our firm, formerly known as the Law Offices of Adam Kotlar, he has been practicing law since 1995 and is one of only four attorneys in the state of New Jersey to be Certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as both a Civil Trial and a Workers' Compensation Law attorney. Adam is also a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, a select group of attorneys who have successfully handled cases that resulted in a recovery of $1 million or more for their clients, and is Certified by the National Board of Trial Advocacy as a Civil Trial Law Advocate.
Known for his service to his clients, Adam is rated "AV" (highest available) by the peer review organization Martindale Hubble, and 10 (highest available) on AVVO, garnering numerous 5-star reviews for his case performance on various ranking and review sites. Adam leads a firm full of attorneys who take pride in their legal work and fight for their clients' rights while prioritizing communication and education every step of the way. Adam advocates for these methodologies by helping other attorneys learn to be more effective in fighting for the rights of clients.
In addition, he has taught numerous seminars on personal injury and workers' compensation for the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education, New Jersey Association for Justice, the New Jersey Council on Safety & Health, the National Business Institute, and other organizations. He is the author of a chapter in the "LexisNexis Practice Guide: New Jersey Workers' Compensation." As a court-certified arbitrator, a licensed real estate agent, and a graduate of the United Way Board of Directors Training Program, Adam is continuously striving for further education and improving his ability to advocate for his clients.
Alan Rosenberg brings a wealth of legal experience to Kotlar, Hernandez & Cohen. Prior to joining the law firm, Alan owned and operated the Law Offices of Alan Rosenberg from 1979 to 2019. Prior to owning his own law firm, he worked as an Associate Attorney at Tabas, Furlong & Horowitz, a law firm based in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

In September of 2018, Jim merged his practice with Kotlar, Hernandez & Cohen wherein he continues practicing law in the same fashion and manner on full time basis proving to be invaluable member to the Firm and our many satisfied clients.
Jammie has served on the board of directors for several nonprofit organizations and institutions of higher learning, including Apple Ridge Farms, YWCA, William & Mary Law School Alumni Association and Longwood University. Jodi D. Barr is Of Counsel at the Law Offices of Kotlar Hernandez & Cohen, where she concentrates her practice in corporate (including representation of closely held corporations), commercial real estate (transactional and financing) and renewable energy (including solar and wind energy) law. Jodi represents corporate clients in all aspects of business-related matters and transactions, including formation, acquisition/disposition and funding matters, and real estate clients in development, financing, leasing and renewable energy matters.
Prior to joining the Kotlar, Hernandez & Cohen team, Jodi worked in New York representing national lenders, real estate investment and development companies, individual buyers and sellers in connection with single and multi-family homes, and cooperative and condominium matters.

Mitch Cohen is Of Counsel at the Law Offices of Kotlar, Hernandez & Cohen, where he concentrates his practice in corporate (including representation of closely held companies), commercial real estate (transactional and financing) and renewable energy (including solar and wind energy) law. Mitch represents corporate clients in all aspects of business-related matters and transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, plant and product expansion, succession planning and divestitures, and real estate clients in acquisition, development and funding matters.
Mr. Cohen has particular experience in corporate financing, including senior debt, mezzanine and equity funding, as well as workout and restructuring financing. He has represented medical service and healthcare companies, information technology and software development companies, physician practices, real estate development and property management companies, military contracting, logistics and manufacturing companies, transportation companies, high-tech and biotech companies, solar energy development and construction companies, equity funds and local, regional and national lenders.
Norman Ginsberg is a Workers' Compensation attorney with 45 years of experience and practice in the field. The beginning part of his career involved a general practice, with the last twenty years being devoted to Workers' Compensation on the side of the injured employee.
