WHIPS

The Whips is a lively amateur theatre company based in West Horsley, near Leatherhead, Surrey, England. Established in 1948 it provides live theatre opportunities for people of all ages... Founded in 1948, we are one of the liveliest and oldest organisations in the Horsley community, keeping theatre tradition alive in the village. We are proud of our reputation for staging entertaining and technically ambitious productions. In past years we have performed French farces, classic whodunits, pantomimes and a premiere of Dads Army on Stage... We stage two shows per year in the Spring and Autumn and every two years, a hugely popular pantomime. We are members of GATA (Guildford Amateur Theatre Association) and NODA (National Operatic and Dramatic Association) The Whips support both local and national charities with proceeds from our shows.
