Robert Bubeck has been a leader in the cable television and broadcast industries for over two decades. With a reputation for strategic thinking, sales, new business development, and operations he has successfully helped chart the course for many media ventures. Currently, Bob is the President of WJLL, Inc, a consulting practice he formed in 1997, initially as Market Link of South Florida, Inc. Clients have included the successful launch, development, and continued operation of many cable networks, television programs, and other media ventures. Bob's lead clients include Comcast, the nation's largest cable operator, Newsmax Media, TimeLife Media, Zuus Digital Networks, The Country Network, Zuus Latino, The FAD Network, and Pyramid Entertainment. Previous clients included Turner Media Group, a developer of networks in the Direct Broadcast Space on both DirecTV and Dish Network, Apex Media the largest independent sales organization in the infomercial and home shopping space, Channel Labs, a developer and incubator of cable networks, Affiliated Media Group, the largest marketer of religious programming worldwide, Verizon Fios, and several project type clients. Included in this group are CN8, Comcast's signature sports and public affairs network, which Bubeck was involved with from its inception as a developer of programming, distribution strategies, and sales. Bob also is a founding partner of Zeplin Media, a media buying service in the infomercial industry. Additionally, Bob is a co-founder of Cross Media Works a multiplatform sales agent in the media industry. He was the driving force in the development of this company and spearheaded the acquisition of Apex Media Sales (Scottsdale), TelAmerica Media (Philadelphia), Affiliated Media (Jacksonville), and WizeBuys (Philadelphia). These acquisitions totaled over $150 million and currently the combined company handles in excess of $300 million annually in media sales. Early clients of Bubeck have included Ocean Communications and OylmpuSat. Ocean is a premier distributor of paid programming via satellite. Bob was responsible for the development of the company's sales and distribution strategies. Olympus is an aggregator and distributor of ethnic and family friendly cable networks. Bob served in a Senior operations capacity with Olympus at developing its operational, sales and distribution strategies. Prior to forming Market Link Bob served as the Senior Vice President of Operations for American Cable Advertising, the largest independent sales organization in the spot cable arena. Under his guidance ACA launched and operated its organization with 10 sales offices nationwide. Bob also served as the Vice President of Sales in the Southeast for National Cable Communications, a joint venture of Comcast, Cox Cable Communications, Time Warner, and Katz Communications. Bubeck started his career with Comcast as a marketing consultant. He was promoted to a variety of posts with in Comcast in both the consumer marketing and advertising capacities. He developed Comcast's first Advertising Sales Organization and later served as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Comcast in the Southeast. In this capacity he was involved in the acquisition and integration of several cable operators by Comcast. Bob also was responsible for the development of The Philadelphia Cable Interconnect, a partnership of Comcast, Lenfest Communications, and The New York Times, the then largest interconnect in the country. Bob served as both a board member and President of this organization. Bob has served on many industry and civic boards and has earned many awards during his career. He is a graduate of LaSalle University and resides in Florida with his wife.
