WOODSIDE SOCCER CLUB - Key Persons
Andrew was born and raised in San Francisco. Andrew is well-known in Northern California for being a leader in youth soccer for the past 25 years. Andrew played collegiate soccer at both Fresno State and Sonoma State where he studied Physical Education.
Charlie is from Maidstone, United Kingdom and grew up playing for youth academies such as Chelsea FC, Millwall FC, Thamesmead Town and eventually semi-professionally with Fisher Athletic FC. Charlie is currently majoring in Kinesiology at CaƱada College.
Charlie's previous coaching experience includes youth clubs in the UK, Redwood City as well as camps and academies such as Arsenal Soccer schools, Soccer Elite Academy and Challenger Soccer.
Charlie holds a FA Level 1 coaching badge, FA level 2 coaching badge, FA level 1 and 2 Youth modules. As is the case with all WSC Crush coaches Charlie is certified as "SafeSport Trained" and in youth soccer injury recognition.

Darren is from Bellshill, Scotland and working toward earning a Bachelor's degree in Communication Studies from San Jose State University. Darren played collegiately at San Jose State University and California State University, Monterey Bay where he was team captain.
Darren is pursuing a USSF "D" license. As is the case with all WSC Crush coaches Darren is certified as "SafeSport Trained" and in youth soccer injury recognition.
Joey is from Carmel, Indiana and is working toward earning a Bachelor's degree in Communication Studies from San Jose State University. Joey played collegiately at Butler University where he tied team leader in assists in 2014 and later played for San Jose State University. Joey also played professionally with Indiana Fire NPSL and Santa Cruz Breakers USL.
Joey is pursuing a USSF "D" license. As is the case with all WSC Crush coaches Joey is certified as "SafeSport Trained" and in youth soccer injury recognition.
Mario is from Jalisco Mexico and is the WSC Goalkeepers coach. Mario played professionally almost 20 years at clubs such as Tecos UAG, Real Hidalgo, Atletico Carmen, San Diego Flash, Mezcala SC, and El Farolito SC.

Rodrigo is from Moraga, California and earned his bachelor degree from University of California Santa Cruz with a double major in Business Management Economics and Modern European History. Rodrigo played collegiately at University of California Santa Cruz and professionally in Chile with Club Universidad de Chile and in the US with Concord Contra Costa FC and Santa Cruz Breakers USL.
