Anna Hogarth

Anna is a Director of Finance and Operations with the TriSpan Group. Prior to joining TriSpan, Anna spent 10 years at Goldman Sachs. Anna was an Executive Director within the Private Wealth Management division reporting to the Chief Operating Officer and responsible for the implementation of business development initiatives and regulatory projects. Previous to joining the Private Wealth Management division, Anna worked within the Finance division of Goldman Sachs as an Internal Auditor where she covered the Merchant Banking business for EMEA. Anna has a BA in Politics from the University of Exeter and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.

Anthony Freijy

Prior to joining TriSpan in 2019, Anthony… Anthony is a Partner with the TriSpan Group and part of TriSpan's American private equity team. Prior to joining TriSpan in 2019, Anthony was a Managing Director at TriArtisan Capital, where he spent seven years focusing on investments in Restaurants, Consumer & Retail and Industrials. Anthony was involved in making TriArtisan's investments in PF Chang's, Hooters, TGI Fridays, Dynacast and Mears Transportation. Prior to joining TriArtisan, Anthony spent seven years in the Investment Banking Group of Royal Bank of Scotland (previously ABN AMRO) where he specialized in M&A origination and execution. In 2010, Mr. Freijy transferred to the U.S. from Sydney, Australia. Prior to joining ABN AMRO, Mr. Freijy spent two years in Macquarie Group's Corporate Risk team. Mr. Freijy received a Bachelor of Business/Laws from the University of Technology, Sydney and is also admitted as a Lawyer in the Supreme Court of New South Wales, Australia. Axelle Strain

Prior to working with Trispan, Axelle spent twelve years at Quilvest Private Equity, where she was Managing Partner, Head of Europe. Axelle oversaw and led numerous private equity direct investments and fund investments in Europe and was a member of Quilvest's Private Equity global investment committees for direct and fund investments. Before joining Quilvest, Axelle was Head of Business Development at Netscalibur, a large build-up in the telecom sector backed by Morgan Stanley Capital Partners. At Netscalibur, which she joined at inception, Axelle participated in the acquisition and integration of numerous companies across Europe. Axelle started her career in the Mergers and Acquisitions department of Morgan Stanley in London. Axelle received her Master of Science degree from the Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées. She also received an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Baudoin Lorans

Baudoin is a Partner with the Trispan Group and part of Trispan's U.S. private equity team. Prior to joining Trispan, Baudoin co-led the direct private equity investment activity of the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec ("CDPQ") in the U.S. and Latin America. CDPQ has over C$30 billion allocated to private equity strategies, and while with the firm Baudoin led or worked on transactions representing in excess of $1 billion of capital contributions. Baudoin co-led the firm's New York office and had direct responsibility overseeing dedicated investment teams focused on North American investment activity in the Industrials, Business Services, Consumer & Retail and Energy sectors, as well as for investment activity in selected Latin American countries (Mexico, Brazil, Colombia). Prior to joining CDPQ, Baudoin was an initial partner and managing director of One Point Capital, a private equity investment firm in New York. Prior to that, he worked from 2003 to 2011 in the New York office of Rhône Capital, a New York and London based private equity firm with over 5 billion under management and a focus on investments in North American or European businesses. While at Rhône, Baudoin had worked on closed private equity investments representing $500 million of aggregate equity investment contributions. Baudoin had joined Rhône Capital after starting his career in the M&A group of Merrill Lynch in New York. Baudoin received a Dual Bachelor of Arts degree in History and East Asian Studies (cum laude and with honors) from Brown University.

Ben Butler

Ben's career as an executive, advisor, and investor in the F&B sector spans 30 years in North America, Asia, the Middle East, and Latin America. Ben has advised large-scale restaurant and entertainment brands including guiding the international expansion of Dave & Busters, Outback Steakhouse in Korea, and Logan's Roadhouse in the United States. He currently serves as a director for AgroAmerica, one of the largest sustainable banana and palm oil producers in Latin America, and works closely with the family office on their diverse international restaurant and food related investments. Ben also serves as an active shareholder and board member in the Louisville, Kentucky restaurant group HiCotton Hospitality comprising Feast BBQ (fast casual), Royal's Hot Chicken (Nashville style), and BarVetti (Italian small plates and pizza) where he mentors the founder/chef/entrepreneur and helps shape the pace, scale and sequence of concept development. Before his advisory work, Ben enjoyed 18 years with YUM! Brands, including positions as President of Long John Silver's/A&W (2007-2010), Managing Director for Latin America (2001-2007), VP for Business Development/CFO for Asia (1996-2001), and CFO/CDO in Toronto, Canada (1992-1996). Benjamin J. Douek

An investment banker, lawyer and marketing executive by background, B. J. has served on boards of directors, been CEO, CFO and CRO of public and private companies in diverse industries including: banking, insurance, financial and business services; biotech; media, software and Internet services; and advertising and marketing.

Before joining BofAML, Ben held several internships in finance at investment banks and private equity companies, including Dubai International Capital. Brandon Stephens

Brandon is the founder of Tortilla Mexican Grill, the second largest fast-casual Mexican chain outside the United States, with 36 restaurants in the UK and seven franchised restaurants in the Middle East. Tortilla is the winner of several industry awards including Best Mexican Restaurant in London (Zagat) and is featured regularly in the Alix Partners Profit Tracker for fastest-growing businesses in the hospitality sector. Brandon is advising a number of hospitality brands. He was previously founder/CEO of REVL, the UK's largest events marketplace; Chairman of Red's True Barbecue, the largest BBQ chain in the UK; and interim Director of eCommerce for Arcadia Group, the umbrella group for Topshop, Topman, Miss Selfridge, and a number of other high street brands. Brandon began his career in Silicon Valley where he worked in a range of senior positions at several high-profile techology startups, including Webvan and PointCast. He has also served as a consultant at Accenture and Booz Allen Hamilton. Chad Wise

Chad received his Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2001, and quickly identified in his first practice the value of exceptional patient care and operational excellence. The group started with a handful of practices in 2 states and grew predominately through M&A to over 200 locations in 11 states when Chad existed in 2019. David Allan

Della Mecattaf

During his 10 years at Quilvest Private Equity, Elan co-led the private equity arm and was a member of its Board of Directors. He was a committee member on all of Quilvest's private equity and real estate investment programs and a board member on the majority of the USA control private equity investments. Prior to Quilvest, Elan was a founding member of SG Capital Partners, a US$500million private equity fund. Jamal Al Husseini

Following that, Jamal joined Investcorp as a partner, out of Bahrain, for 17 years, advising and placing with clients in Saudi Arabia, alternative investments, focusing on PE, RE and Hedge Funds. Jamal then joined Quilvest and focused on placing PE and RE funds to UHNWI and family offices in the GCC. James Ashton

James is an Operating Partner with the TriSpan Group. James has over 25 years of experience with private equity owned companies, serving as Chairman for 16, CEO for 4, and a Board member for 27 companies. He has proven experience as an advisor in deal analysis and evaluation including due diligence and closings. James began his career at General Dynamics doing R&D in composite materials. He led engineering teams designing parts of the Space Shuttle, first Cruise Missiles and other defense weapons. On the F-16, James was the V.P. of Operations through the first 250 aircraft. He was V.P. of engineering on the Nuclear Submarine programs, including the Trident design. Subsequently he had successful management assignments at Rockwell, Schlumberger, and FMC. Joanna Weiss

Joseph Patrick Dib

Prior to joining TriSpan, JP worked at Quilvest & Partners, where he was engaged in private equity and advisory activities primarily in the Middle East… JP is a Partner with TriSpan and part of TriSpan's European private equity team. JP has over 15 years of private equity and consulting experience across multiple geographies, sectors, and investment strategies including a focus on restaurant investments. JP was part of the founding team at TriSpan driving the setup of TriSpan, its first generation of funds and the execution of the first investments. Prior to joining TriSpan, JP worked at Quilvest, where he was engaged in private equity and advisory activities primarily in the Middle East and North Africa region. JP was also involved with the assessment of regional investment opportunities (both direct and funds) and the development and review of several private equity strategic initiatives with the CEO. Nadine Koniski-Ziadé

Nicholas Hirschi

Nicholas brings to TriSpan over 15 years of professional experience in private equity investing and business advisory roles, gained both in the US and across Europe. Prior to his association with TriSpan, Nicholas was a Managing Director in the North American Direct Private Equity team of the Caisse de Dépôt et Placement du Québec (CDPQ), a major Canadian institutional fund manager. As a senior member of CDPQ's New York-based investment team he led coverage of the Business Services sector for the direct private equity platform and was responsible for the origination and execution of investment opportunities, as well as post-investment oversight. During this time Nicholas led the $2.5 billion buyout of AlixPartners, amongst other transactions, and also served as a board member of both AlixPartners and St. George's University, where he worked closely with management teams, founders and other stakeholders to drive various strategic and operational initiatives. Prior to joining CDPQ, Nicholas spent nearly a decade in the investment team of Bridgepoint, a pan-European mid-market private equity fund, where he was a member of the Industrials and Healthcare sector teams and played a core role in numerous buyout investments across multiple European geographies representing over $1 billion in aggregate equity capital deployment. Nicholas joined Bridgepoint from strategy consultancy Mars & Company, where he advised blue-chip, global corporate clients in the Consumer, Financial Services, and Telecommunications industries on a broad range of strategic and operational issues. Rob Gaskell

Rob is a Director within the Finance & Operations team in London, where he has the role as Operations Manager. Prior to joining TriSpan, Rob worked at Credit Suisse UK (Private Bank) where he spent two years as Head of Strategic Business Transformation and spearheaded numerous Front Office change initiatives including the Brexit Project. Before this Rob was at Goldman Sachs Private Wealth Management where he worked since 2013. Rob joined Goldman in their Institutional Wealth Management business to cover family offices across EMEA before moving to the PWM Management team where he worked on regulatory project implementation as well as having day to day business management oversight for support staff. Rob graduated from Imperial College London in 2006, where he studied Chemical Engineering, and then completed a year's military training at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. In September 2007, Rob commissioned into the Royal Logistic Corps and a year later deployed to Afghanistan on a 6 month operational tour. In December 2011, following two years of training, Rob qualified as Bomb Disposal Operator and was posted to the UK Bomb Disposal Headquarters where he was involved in bomb disposal security for the Olympic Games in 2012, as well as being responsible preparing the Bomb Disposal Task Force which deployed to Afghanistan in 2013.

From joining Whitbread PLC in 1984, Robin has developed and led multiple pub & restaurant brands with leading UK hospitality sector PLCs including Diageo, Scottish & Newcastle and The Restaurant Group before joining Yo! Sushi in 1999. Over 18 years, Robin built Yo! Sushi, the iconic fast-casual popular restaurant chain, from 3 to 100 company restaurants both in the UK and the US, including 16 franchise restaurants in international airports and the Gulf. In November 2017, Yo! Sushi acquired Canada-based Bento Sushi (supermarket kiosks and supply) creating a US$200m+ turnover group. Robin led Yo! Sushi's MBOs in September 2003, March 2008 and most recently in November 2015. His management philosophy is simple as he agitates for "continual improvement" on 5 Ps - People, Product, Property, Promotion and Profit. Having completed his mandate at Idal, Samih moved to Russia where he was the Managing Director of Saraya Sochi, a high-end real-estate development project located on the Black Sea. At project completion, Samih joined Quilvest and worked on Private Equity investments and direct deals in Europe and the USA.
