The Llanelli Railway Goods Shed Trust is a volunteer-group of people committed to preserving Llanelli's industrial heritage. Since 2011, we have been creating the plans to restore the derelict Railway Goods Shed back into use. Fast forward to 2021, we are well into Phase 1 of the project, which involves restoring a two-story building at the western end of the shed into community-based flexible office and meeting space... Our overall vision is to transform the shed into a hub for cultural, heritage, community and enterprise activities. We want to create a dynamic, welcoming space where our diverse community can come to use the space however they may need as well as being able to explore Llanelli's heritage. We are grateful to our funders for providing us with the finances to complete Phase 1 of the project.
