SEQUENCE CARE - Key Persons
I have been involved with sequence for a number of years. I have held a few positions during my time with the organization including senior support worker, deputy manager, and Registered manager. At the moment I'm the training manager responsible for co-ordinating and delivering the training to existing staff and new staff that join the organization also the development of staff in terms of their career progression i also work closely with the multi disciplinary team.
I am an experienced and fully qualified Finance Director and have worked in Finance for over 13 years. My career has spanned over working in an accounting firm, a FTSE 100 and a Private Equity backed business. My previous role involved leading the finance function in a £100m turnover multi-site organisation.
After graduating from Sheffield University, Erika spent the first 10 years of her career working in public relations, internal communications, and transformational change. Erika
joined the social care sector 15 years ago and has progressed her career in operations at a regional and national level, supporting vulnerable adults with dementia and adults with learning disabilities and complex behaviour. Erika has worked as a director with senior teams and executives, writing strategy and bringing about effective and meaningful change in the social care sector. She has managed a broad range of CQC regulated services from supported living, day care, residential care and live-in care through to local authority funded activity groups and community based social enterprises. Erika feels passionate about delivering services that are safe, effective, and person-centred, driven by the needs and aspirations of the people we serve.
I've worked in the health and social care sector for 12 years now and I have been lucky to meet many wonderful people throughout my career. My career path started off as a Support Worker, working in a respite unit for people with learning and physical disabilities. I knew right from the start that this was the career path for me. I went on to work as a Senior Support Worker, and from there progressed to Team Leader and then a Registered Manager. I managed a home for 5 adults with learning disabilities, autism and behaviours that may challenge. I've been the Area Manager for Progress Housing for 3 years.
I began working in health and social care at 18 as a student nurse, specialising in paediatrics. I then took a change in career and began working with adults with learning and physical disabilities. I started working for Progress Housing in 2009 as a support worker. I became Deputy Manager of Lulworth in 2013 and progressed to Manager at Blake in 2014. In 2016 I became the Registered Manager for Blake and Lulworth where I remained very happily until my maternity leave. Subsequently, I have recently been successful in gaining the new post of Deputy Area Manager (a new and exciting challenge). I have always been incredibly passionate about enabling the individuals we support to experience as many opportunities as possible that will enrich and fulfil their lives. I maintain a keen interest in supporting individuals with complex health and finding new and innovative ways to motivate and drive staff to deliver high quality care holistically, with the individual at the centre of all we do.

I am the Occupational Therapy Lead for Sequence Care Group. My team and I are here to help carry out activities that service users want to do and/or need to do. We help each person find ways to carry on living the life that they want to and to remain as independent as possible. We support the service users to maintain, regain and develop their functional level despite difficulties that they may face.

I began working for Sequence in 2015. I have worked in social care for 31 years in both children's and adult services. I have training and experience working with both adults and children who have Learning and Mental Health needs and Autism, EBD, Deafblind, physical support needs and severe challenging behaviour. My roles have included Registered Manager, Area and Operational Senior Management Roles and Executive Chair of a County Care Association. I have extensive training in behaviour management through the IABA and qualified as a non-crisis intervention trainer. Other qualifications held include Advanced DMS (level 7), NVQ level 4 in Care and Registered Managers Award Level 4. I find it very helpful to be able to draw upon my broad operational and management experience within my role for Sequence Care Group.

- Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner ( PBSP )
I am a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner that supports the Lead Behaviour Analyst to implement PBS across our services. I am a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) with over 5 years' experience working in various settings, including care homes, SEN schools and supported living environments for those with high levels of challenging behaviour and complex needs. I achieved my first degree in Psychology, before going onto to become a Registered Behaviour Technician (RBT). I have since completed my MSc Behaviour Analysis and Therapy, at the University of South Wales, and became a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst in February 2020.

Mike is an accomplished Operations Director (interim consultant) with significant UK and International health & social care sector experience. He has held commercial and operational Board roles with Simplyhealth, Ramsay Health Care UK, London Ambulance Service NHS Trust and the social enterprise Mytime Active.
Most recently Mike has worked in NHS Community Services with Virgin Care and also in the mental health & intellectual disabilities sector, serving as a COO and Operations Director and Hospital Director with Nuffield Health. His international experience includes working in the Middle East for a CAMHS & Adult Mental Health Services clinic and managing projects in Europe, North Africa and Asia with AXA and BUPA.
Mike is passionate about putting people at the heart of decision making.
Prior to working at Sequence Care Group I worked in various management roles for Tesco's before becoming a HR Manager there for 5 years. I joined Sequence Care Group in 2015 as a HR Advisor before being promoted to HR Manager. I am CIPD qualified.

St James House provides care and support for six people with learning disabilities and other complex needs. The Mews provides care and support for nine people with learning disabilities. The purpose-built accommodation is split between a four-bedded male only house and a four-bedded female only house within a gated mews.

Steve Crawley joined the Sequence Care Group Board as Commercial Director in June 2020. Prior to this he was Regional Sales & Marketing Director for Sodexo Home Care UK & Ireland. Steve has held a been a Sales & Marketing Director for over 14 years for a variety of commercial entities in property, housing and government sectors including Countrywide, Sage Housing and the Department of Economic Development for the Isle of Man Government. He has an MBA from Warwick Business School, a Master's Degree in Marketing from LMU and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing.

I am the Lead for the Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) team and joined in April 2020. I have worked in health & social care for 9 years and began as a support worker for adults with Autism & Learning Disabilities while at University. I studied to become a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) and have since worked in inpatient and community settings to support adults to improve their quality of life, build new skills and reduce behaviours of concern. My approach to implementing PBS in our services involves a hands on, practical application to ensure consistent implementation and achieving measurable outcomes.
