With a degree in Hospitality Management, I quit my corporate hospitality job in Chicago and moved down to South Florida in 2008. After a year managing the F&B and catered events at a prominent golf club, I wanted my nights and weekends back and that's the last time I worked in Food & Beverage... You can take me out of the F&B industry, but you'll never take my love for food! Even as I worked my ‘9-5', I always wanted to be involved in (if not surrounded by) food. For five years I worked with a local non-profit and chaired their two annual Chef-centric fundraisers, thereby keeping my finger on the pulse of our local restaurant scene. All the while, I continued to do what I loved most in my private life - catering my own private parties and perfecting my cooking along the way, learning and finding inspiration from some of the best chefs in Fort Lauderdale.
